Interesting what you say about age and flexibility. I'm age 21 and did gymnastics for 14 years. I'm extremely flexible. But this summer I learned that my true and legal birth year is 2002 and not 2001 as we were told all my life. I was adopted from Ukraine and raised in US where I later became a naturalized citizen. So I'm flexible and now know I'm a year younger. Hang in there on recovery. Growing up in gymnastics I had lots of injuries and set back. I even got severely beat up at age 15 when I was held in a full nelson while a group of older athletes wanted to see how long I could take punches to my "gymnast abs." Turns out I can take hard punches for a long time. Gymnastics training and being filled with adrenaline helped. That led to set backs in gymnastics for sure.

Good luck with the recovery! I broke my foot running a half marathon and these videos are great to motivate me to get back after the bones are finaly consolidated. Great job mate!

Do you do anything for the mental side of things? Thinking mental toughness, sports hypnosis, stuff like that?

hi jordan, first of all very nice video! I also do the exact same thing, of lifting and endurance training and i am also bulking right now. But I consitenly gain weight, because I eat in a calorie surplus, but also not too high...So I mean doesn´´t dthat show, that both works? Ofcourse my endurance suffer from gaining weight, but if I cut the weight in about 3-4months, I will do massiv progress and I will see also my liftig progress for sure. I undestand if you do both, both can´t be optimized perfectly...but I still do a very good progress in both I think🤷♂

People don’t talk about them (injuries) because they come with the territory. Not every injury need to be turned into this “deep” think piece lmao. You got tendinitis. You will be okay.

In all fairness, injuries can affect peoples mental health. Talking about how to navigate injuries can be helpful to people, especially when showing the direct effects of it.

@@cricket-lt8nc I don’t disagree with that point.

@@strongbodystrongmiind Posterior tibialis tendonitis to be exact. I’ve had this injury multiple times as stated in the video. If you think this is a “deep” piece then something else might be a problem.
