Niomi! You’ve become so so much more approachable and relatable since you opened up about what you see online and feeling guilt! I LOVE these honest videos, the way you’ve relaxed with your fitness ‘regiment’ and upholdinging perfectness and you seem SO MUCH HAPPIER and more free?! Keep it up!!

I have learnt that self love is the most important thing you do for yourself. Everyday I try to do anything/something that makes me happy.. enjoying a cup of coffee at my favourite cafe.. text a good friend... or even go for a walk... also I have learnt to let go any negative thoughts/feelings that are out of my hand/control. We only live this life once let go of anything spoils it and be happy

Girl thanks so much for this^_^ I have been STRESSED /stressing sm over my class this semester , I'm breaking out severly since I started, on my forehead (possible it could be other things)!! but it completely drains me by the end of the day and especially after the whole week, I need the weekend , WHOLE weekend to recharge from the week and by the time i am recharged to do the things that I love and that are the most important to me and my heart like my videos, insta stories, what my heart is all about it starts all over by the time I'm back up and full of energy ughhh. I try my best, thank you sm Niomi! You've grown sm🥰

Yes, the caffeine comment is so important! I gave up caffeine at the end of September and I have noticed a huge difference in panic attacks. Not stress but work has been intense. But I highly recommend giving up caffeine for anyone struggling with anxiety!

the timing of this is MAD. i am living in stress city right now and actually have a doctors appointment tomorrow about an eye twitch i've had since my january exams. i've learnt a lot about stress since getting into Dr Rangan Chatterjee's podcast 'Feel Better, Live More' and purchasing his books 'the 4 pillar plan' and 'the stress solution' have really really helped. i would recommend them to anyone wanting to understand stress more and make simple changes to improve your life. i've been struggling recently and i've got a lot on as I'm in my final year at uni and i know it's going to be over soon but i'm really trying to make an effort to sort out my response to stress, because even though this specific stress will go, life is still stressful !! so i want to make changes and do things that are going to help me so i can live a happier and calmer life. thank you so much for this video niomi x

Being stressed and overwhelmed by everything around is something that unfortunately has happened to me a lot of the time since I remember. I always try to work on it and remind myself that the pressure I'm feeling is just something that my mind creates on its own and that it's not something that is really a thing - but it's not that easy as it may sound. For me the thing that calms me down the most is writing a notebook - I just sit by myself in my bedroom, listen to my favourite chilling spotify playlist and just try to write all of my thoughts on paper - I've been doing this since i was a little girl and I swear I always feel instantly better afterwards - it clears my mind and helps me organize all this negative things in my head. So I really recommend doing that or at least try a few times :) Besides that I also love meditation, but I'm still learning and trying to improve that :) Also Niomi - it's so lovely and nice of you that you talk about topics like mental health - I think there are a lot of people out there that would find your videos helpful xx

To reduce stress, I shower with cold water and use my favorite coconut body wash. Then head to the kitchen to prepare me a peachy tea flavor, go to the garden with my iPad to listen to Chopin melodies and write on my diary.

I really recommend the book Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers by Robert Sapolski to really understand stress and why we suffer so much from it. It's a science based approach (I read it for an advanced science class during my bachelors), but it explains everything so well that I do believe the general public is able to understand it. It explains the link of stress to all sort of diseases such as cardiovascular, dementia, Alzheimer and cancer. Very interesting and educational.

Something that I found really helps me “get rid” of some stress is just either lying down (on the floor or somewhere else) and just listening to music, I actually made a 9 hour playlist just for this sole purpose. Other times I’ll just walk around town alone and listening to the same music and idk stop for a coffee or tea or whatever. Normally I find that being alone in general helps me I’m stressful situations.

@@evanneofficial awww that's lovely. Thanks for sharing and replying. Yes the timings are according to the sun's height and is Sooo useful as the timings can be known by if someone was to be living on a farm with no clock. 1.Break of dawn 2.From when the sun has been at it's highest 3.When the shadow of things are more it's length 4. Just when the sun has set 5. When the sun has disappeared and darkness overspreads.

I’m stressing right now because I have exam on Wednesday and I’m not prepared. It’s stupid because I knew for months and had time to study and prepare myself, but nooo. For years I’ve been doing this and my brain is now used to this “condition”. If I try to study a month before it’s not as effective as it is 10 days before the exam. And these 10 days are really depressing and stressful. I know I have to change this, but it’s hard.

Kim Aponte what luxuries? This wasn’t a list of expensive treatments. There are many ways to deal with stress which she discussed, and it’s not a total list anyway. You can find what works for you
@dianawilliams41615 жыл бұрын
Kim that's a really ignorant comment. Anyone can feel stressed however fortunate others may think they are.
@yellowrainbow78895 жыл бұрын
No one asked you to talk about stress. At least not a huge number of people. You'll just do anything and talk about everything to avoid talking about yourself and your own life because clearly things are not working out with Joe. Your topics lately are awful because you don't want to get real with us. You don't connect with your audience and that's why no one's into watching your channel anymore
@jclh215 жыл бұрын
Yellow Rainbow Omfg this is such a good, relatable video! Look at the reception. Quit the negativity just because she’s not putting out content that’s appealing to you.
@yellowrainbow78895 жыл бұрын
@@jclh21 Thanks, but I'm my own person with My own thoughts which I wrote. I'll comment mine, not parrot anyone else's or write what u WANT me to think 😉. The "reception" BTW is not in the comments. It's in the lack of views & the extremely LOW engagement on Niomi's channel over the past year. Nobody watches her anymore... With just under 2 mill sub's she should have at least 300K views.. Not under 20k or even 50K on most recent chosen topics.
