Those who are going through workplace bullying need this piece of advice! Hey really appreciate about what you have shared. I had a really bad workplace bullying experience the first month I worked in London 2 years ago, yea by my manager. All the typical bullying behaviours, (mocking, intimidation by walking behind me in an hourly basis, asked me how I learnt english ( several times etc.) anyway, if I had watch your videos that time it wouldn't have taken me 4 months to realise leaving is the best option.

Human remains 😂, thanks Aaron great video, the video did resonate with me, I was going through a tough time but your tt lives helped me get through, my situation taught me I’m stronger than I thought and not to be naive in thinking everyone is like me. To read contracts with a fine tooth comb and always gather evidence.

Yes, exactly 💯 agreed. In your job, you're not a human for them, just a number. And if something happened, they don't care .Like you said, Aaron you need evidence which is hard to get in work place. YOU DON'T HAVE FRIENDS IN YOUR JOB ,REMEMBER THAT!!! Thanks Aaron for great and informative video. You are the best 🔥💯🔥🙏💪

You hit the nail on the head mate. I now suffer with generalized anxiety disorder. It is relentless. I worked on a pig farm and was very keen and became so knowledgeable so quickly. There was a problem my manager was a bully to the point it nearly destroyed my life and I nearly lost everything because of this. I am still trying to do self help books and done lots of therapy. Its disgusting how bullying at work can ruin your life all together.

Incredibly practical real advice, and my own experiences certainly align! Life's just too short to tolerate this festering sickness of tolerating a toxic workplace that never leads to being callused like some bootcamp. Finding another role is indeed most ideal and just a test of personal faith to simply do it instead of thinking and worrying about it. Life being short and sweet is a great thing, it's a powerful reason to live our best.

I was bullied in a restaurant I worked. It was at a retirement home and you’d think they’d have strong standards of behavior but they had some of the most abusive people I’ve ever worked with. The coworkers would repeatedly target me with verbal abuse, mocking, false accusations, and even physical intimidation-they’d slam the door right as I was about to walk through it and posture aggressively-all while we were actively working. I ended up leaving because I couldn’t take anymore. The leaders are 100% responsible for bullying. There’s many methods they could use to track signs of bullying and prevent it. They chose not to and get away with it

The problem is that it is not easy to find another job in the UK, and the new employers want references from your old job, the one where you were bullied.

The problem is that in the UK, workplace bullying is pandemic, and you leave one job only to go to another where you will be treated the same or even worse.

@@AaronKnightley ... Yes, but that's not a solution. It would be good if there was no bullying like this. I'm from Romania, and something like this on such a scale doesn't exist (but we are becoming more Americanized)... Romanians are very noisy and can turn the boss's world upside down (here in UK the boss is the king ... WTF??!! he is going to the WC like anyone else, and the boss will die in the end like all of us ... ). Also, after 50 years of communism (equivalent to the totalitarianism in Anglo-Saxon corporations), nobody believes the boss's nonsense (defaming the target, for example... a communist method was to say that the subject is crazy, the target subject that cannot be manipulated). And there's a saying in Romania (no offense): if everyone is a boss aka owner of company aka CEO, then who does the work?

@@AaronKnightley ...I came to the UK at the age of 40, believe me, in 40 years of life I haven't seen as much malice, stupidity, and mental problems as I've seen in 2 years working in Anglo-Saxon corporations... Individualism taken to psychopathy, pragmatism taken to dementia, competition instead of collaboration... we have that now in Eastern Europe since the Economic War made Western Psychopathic Corporations overrun Eastern Europe. The difference is that as an employee in Eastern Europe, I can literally turn the boss or "manager's" world upside down if they're not fair with me, and Romanian has a straightforward vocabulary that English doesn't even dream of :D (Call it lack of education, but in my opinion, bullying is also a lack of education ;) ... ) ...

@@JohnnySmith-to7jwit’s not much better here in the US under capitalism. I’m capitalism, corporations pretty much run politics and workers just don’t have the means to fight with lawsuits. I believe communism or socialism is still somewhat better in the social equality sphere than capitalism.
@JohnnySmith-to7jw2 ай бұрын
@@iheartlol90 .... In communism, if you didn't criticize the state representatives, everything was fine (Although sarcasm and mockery were everywhere, and the authorities knew it.). The problem is that the West is hypocritical, applying exactly the same manipulation techniques. Of course, life was much more equal under communism; a director might have had twice the salary of a clerk, but now a CEO has an enormous, incomparable salary. All the profits in communism went into the state apparatus, which means back to the people. I’m not saying communism was good, but what’s happening now-with cameras everywhere, personal data being collected at every step by private entities: on the internet, at stores through bank cards, in clubs via ID-didn't exist in communism. In the West now, it's exactly like in George Orwell's '1984'... practically, private life has disappeared.

@AaronKnightley I'm looking for a new job. I worked at retail and I had a several issues. 1. I had a relative who was my manager. He used his relation to put pressure in my work and got supervisors to be unnecessary harsh and rude to me. I thought about wanting to complain but didn't want my parents involved and emotionally blackmailing me. 2. I had an issue with another manager (not related). When I became a supervisor. There was a staff member who had tourettes. The manager always use to put him only in my shifts. The staff member had other issues which did affect getting things done in a team. I would inform the manager that he needs to be assesed because there are other health issues he does suffer from. The manager didnt care and I would get blamed for work that has not been done by him. By the time I reported the staff member had resign. But there was so much stress for me involved which I couldn't explain it in a text.

The same here. There's a new trend, bullying is a mild way of labelling these behaviours, it's gone out of fashion. It's Mobbing and gang stalking, drugging unsuspecting workers who have friendly, accommodating and helpful personalities with a productive brain. These mobs would even stoop low to commit criminal acts and take pleasure seeing you in pain even if an act of the unthinkable and paid to keep them quiet and keep the mob gang happy in the company. Employment business racketeer is alive and kicking with those who are willing to be bought selling their soul to the devil. Companies have funds set aside and definitely carry out these practices to anyone who's willing to lie on oath on their coworker. Mental health is on the rise, pharmaceutical companies profiting, mental health clinicians, talk therapist ects profiting on the vulnerable labeling them as most important people keeping them hooked on brainwashed words.... We care for the most vulnerable in society when in fact they should implement laws to stamp out and eradicate these practices making the word bullying alongside harassment equally poses a danger to a person's life. It's a health hazard, isn't it. People committed suicide because of bullying more than any abuse. If we bullied our family, partner, neighbours or a person in the street,. It's class as a crime. Then why doesn't this in a workplace environment.
