I am a new fan of Scott. Saw him on CNN and he just blew me away. We need more REAL intellectuals like him. Awesome man and interview. Thank you!

Scott relates his early days story about Prophet...leveraging his Haas network, calling Howard, who called Pat who called Scott...as vp of something at WS in those days I was part of the team of about 8 he presented his findings to, and I can say...a few years later, I recall it vividly, recall Scott's enthusiasm (surprise...) as well as his key points. But, I disagree with his oft-cited self-definition of his "super-power," it is in fact that he is an insight factory. Thanks Scott, for the public service of your endless stream of provocative insights via what is essentially free, public media.

Dear Haas people...about Scott's Corona Corps theme, and specifically the import of contact tracing...I'll pass along one datapoint here in case helpful to anyone...Viet Nam, which had by far the most effective corona management of any country (under-reported but true; 96 mill pop, 0 fatalities), did something sublime as it pertained to tracing and that was to appeal to final year Public Health students in Hanoi to volunteer for tracing task force teams. They were over-subscribed. Test, trace, isolate...and as needed quarantine, to contain or preemptively. (Sadly we, the US, are stunningly behind on the tracing curve...) GRD - UCB '76
