I love this song so fucking much and it is so perfect for these boys, who have been through so much, been broken and put back together again so many times that they remind me of a blanket that is so covered in patches you can't see the original fabric, and all of it for each other. The last verse always makes me want to scream the lyrics to the stars, and you can almost picture the boys, beaten and bloody and broken but still defiant, doing just that. Screaming "I will not be silent" at everything that's ever tried to claw its way under their armour and failed because it underestimated just how far these proud boys, these shattered men, would truly go for each other.
