Basically I watched the latter seasons and then rewatched the show and had this pressing need to express just how much Castiel is the one Dean places his faith in.
The world without Cas always appears ugly and hopeless. Without Cas, Dean is a complete mess and ruled by despair.

Seeing this video reminded me of someone from the show. A Roy Lagrange. His wife was the one controlling the Reaper and what not and she got what she deserved but that man was clueless as to what was happening. Now he's blind, lost his wife, his caregiver and the ability that he though was god given and was his meaning in life. I know the boys saved those innocent people but they also put another innocent person in harms way
