@Matthew Davies yeah the sweeps, and the really fast up and down string skippingwhile hitting like 4 frets back and forth all up and down the frets, and then going into a super chuggy far apart squeal thing then sliding up nd down the strings would be tough i feel like for her based off stuff she had trouble with in the past(not that i can play any of this)

this is honestly my FAVORITE song of yours, and i've heard them all... over and over and over. i'm obsessed with you guys. the solo gives me CHILLS every fucking time.
@Raittarian4 жыл бұрын
I just noticed a few differences between yours and Tobi's playing that layer the song in a specific way: 1. Intro riff - Tobi: All down picks; Dean: Alternate picks 2. Asc/dsc. diminished runs - Tobi: Hammer-on/Pull-offs; Dean: 2 notes/string picking (neck pickup) 3. Octave/sweeping part - Tobi: Bridge p.u. for octaves, neck p.u. for sweeps; Dean: All neck *this causes Tobi to miss 1 single 16th note 4. Chords - Dean does a lot more upstrokes than Tobi This song started me on Archspire since 2014 and I'm still learning stuff from it. Masters.

It's always clear in other videos that you're an amazing guitarist but sometimes it's easy to forget that you're literally in one of the most insane tech death bands to ever exist. Mind-blowing stuff, is "just do all of them" a legitimate song request?

Sup Dean, Djentvin here, for many years, ive been an selfteach guitarist, got my own band, and i really never got a "inspiration guitarist" to play, its just me, like two months ago i discover your channel, Archspire and your videos with Claire (a lot of fun watching them), the way you play guitar its another level for me, and now im feeling stuck on my playing, but the answer its simple, play Archspire songs, helps a lot to progress in my picking technique, so thanks Dean, youre now my inspiration to get better, and i hope i can upload a cover of this song
