What a great little baby! My 11 year old mare was obviously never taught that fly spray is not the mist of death and she will start lunging herself around me 😂 I’ve only had her for a couple months so we’re working on that next!

Aw, he trusts you. 🙂🐴 I work at a mountain barn and the horse flies and deer flies are SO bad! The horses quickly learn that fly spray makes the little demons go away. They stand stock still every time.

I always and only use the Clinton Anderson rope halter. No other rope halter compares so don’t even waste your money.

How do you get your horse to stand still when giving them a bath and my horse is terrified of water ??

The concept is exactly the same! Put the pressure on and keep it on until the horse shows any sign of relaxation. Then take the pressure off immediately. Repeat over and over again! Here is a more detailed video to answer your question: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6jbqWOdrZd6Z5Y

What i can do, when my horse does not move around, but rears every time i spray him?

The same rules apply for your horse. Make sure you have a rope halter and long lead line or lunge line and do it the same way I did in the video. Do not stop spraying him with a water bottle until he shows a tiny sign of relaxation. If you are unsure about this or feel nervous, don’t be afraid to ask for help from a local, qualified trainer.
