Lovely aircraft!! Never seen a wing bag before either lol, can you buy them or do they need to be custom made??? ... and when you realize your car just isnt big enough, and get rid of the kids so you can buy a van to carry all your flight stuff in lol

How does this compared with the Hangar 9 Oskar with radial engine?

we discussed this and decided the p-47 is a lot heavier therefore flies a lot better than the oscar (oscars to light and floaty) tons more power with the GP 61cc but obviously doesn't sound as good, i think deano prefers the p-47 by far !

Excellent - great flying - what an aircraft. Just been reading about P-47s in the Pacific theatre. Thing was a beast, loved by its pilots. (Not as loved by its adversaries...). Happy New Year!
