Beth, it’s taken me a while to be able to post this but EFF it. I’d like for you to know. I’ve had extreme neck pain for months now. To the point that when I finally got into my spinal specialist he sent me in for emergency surgery because it was that necessary. That surgery was last week and I’m currently laying in bed with a neck brace on, trying to heal and binging your videos. I discovered your channel through some weirdo named Mac, ew gross, around the same time that i started dealing with this pain. I cannot even begin to tell you how nice it has been to feel like I’ve had a friend to turn to, to just hang out with when i was stuck in bed with pain meds and heating pads, feeling like i was never going to feel normal again. You and your sarcasm and herd of pets roaming around have helped bring some joy and normalcy to me during what has been the most difficult time of my life. You talked a little about how the beginning of your 2025 hasn’t been great and i can absolutely relate to that. But one thing you’ve helped me realize, probably without even knowing it, is that the phrases “it can only go up from here” and “one step at a time” and “not perfect but better” are so incredibly freeing. We’re doing our damn best and that is enough. Thank you for continuing to upload. You’ve helped me more than you know. Thank you for being a friend, making me laugh and making me feel seen. OKAY, this is getting too sentimental so like….ew Beth, why are you the most sneeziest of all sneezers!? How dare you have the audacity to blow your nose and expectorate any sort of mucus from your nose holes?! ;) ❤

First of all, I have never and will never sneeze. That’s slander and I will sue you. Second of all, that sucks so so much that your neck hates you so deeply. You will feel normal again! The pain will pass but it sucks so so bad to be in it right now. It’s so hard to look toward when it won’t feel like that, isn’t it. Like when you have the flu you just know there will never be a time again where you aren’t vomiting. Or, in my near future, popping. 😫 I’m wildly happy to have you Amanda! And so glad you decided to chat with me about how absolute shit your start of the year has been. But we have 11 more months to go! I bet we will do amazing babe

Looks great! Tip1. Keep air filter running in bedroom all the time. Has made huge difference with my allergies. Tip 2 get a swiffer with the long adjustable arm to clean the blinds. It really does grab the dust and it gives a little distance between the dust and your nose. I’d do it from across the room if the swiffer holder was longer😂 That’s all I have today. Thanks for the smiles. Oh colonoscopy not bad. Had one every 6 months for 5 years, years ago. I’m good now. The first one is the worst. But they are important. So just do it.❤

Colonoscopy prep is shitty (see what I did there). When I had mine I lost 4lbs in a day. Plus I couldn’t eat for 30 hours so I hated everyone 😅 the twilight sleep they give you when they do the procedure is DELIGHTFUL though. I was so happy after for hours lol. All in all I found the experience not bad at all, you’re gonna rock it!

Honestly you will be stuck on the toilet for a few hours. It'll be a literal waterfall! But I don't think you'll need much prep other than things to keep you busy while stuck in the bathroom lol It's not painful, just unpleasant. You won't need any aftercare. 😊

Beth, you don't need to sweep and mop every day, just collect the things that are scattered across the surfaces of the house, make the beds, pick up things from the floor and wash the dishes. If you do this every day, visually the house will look more presentable, do this every day; Sweep and mop once a week and also set a day a week to wash the bathrooms. Love your channel and your house is beautiful! ❤

Can’t wait to see ones from the road trip 🥰 I follow a few lost and found pet pages and I wanted to encourage you to make sure each pet is microchipped if they’re not already, and that the chip is actually registered with up to date contact info, and also make sure each pet has a collar with your number written on it or a secure tag. So many pets, especially cats, get lost while traveling. And with the kids going in and out of the RV, there will be so many opportunities for pets to slip out, get scared, and run off. I hope nothing like that happens but having those IDs on/in them will be so helpful. Also, if you can get AirTags for each one and put them on their collars, that would mean you could actually find them if they slip out.

Hey Beth! Love watching your videos. You are so fun. I think your bedspread looks great. From someone who suffers from allergies,here are a few tips you might want to try. Wash your pillowcases every other day. Try to keep the dust down in your bedroom(good job today). Keep your windows closed. You may feel like you’re airing out your room but you are actually letting in all the pollen and dust. The construction across the street could be exacerbating your allergies too. Looks great! The comforter really matches the room without being too matchy matchy. I’ve done fantastic at the low/no-spend January and aging less processed foods but sucked so bad at getting in exercise for health yourself goals. According to my psychologist, exercise is good for depression and anxiety, so now that’s doubly my homework 😅. So shy of my goal step count this month so I need to crush it in February. Nice that you’ll be starting “fresh” post-procedure. Lol.

@ I usually like to do 300k per month since that’s about 10k a day. Helps to keep weekly 70k and monthly goals rather than daily for those days that I just can’t make it happen. Then I don’t feel like a failure and throw in the towel. I haven’t decided if I’ll aim for 300k or 280k given that it’s a shorter month and I’ve struggled this month.

Your bedroom is lovely! Love the bed cover and pillows. I have those blinds and I usually just swiffer from side to side when I dust those. Claritin is my allergy go to. No drowsiness. I had my colonoscopy five years ago. I just used a little balmex just to avoid irritation. The prep was not really a big deal. I just had plenty of clear liquids on hand and no commitments for that evening. The day of is no big deal since you sleep through it. Anyway you’re awesome and wonderful and hope everything goes well for you. ❤

I quit Amazon Prime when the renewal came due on 1/17/25. It’s a real struggle because I intend to not purchase from Amazon at all - I’m hoping to save a ton of money & help the local economy. Compliments on the cleanliness and tidying up of the room. You were precise and attentive. As for the colonoscopy, don't worry, I had to do it too. It's a bit tedious to prepare because you have to drink at least 2 liters of solution with water to help you clean your intestines. The exam was not terrible because I fell asleep and so they worked well. However, don't worry because it is a scary exam but it is not. A strong hug from Italy ☺️

As someone who lives in a desert with nonstop dust on absolutely everything, and also lots of pet dander all up in everything as well, Zyrtec-D is the only allergy med that even come close to helping. That and having air purifiers in every room. It’s so annoying that we have to do all that but it helps me. ❤❤❤ doing the sleeping pillows will do wonders for the sneezies. (I take 3 daily meds for those & asthma-ugh) anyway, experience tells me to also do the comforter (not just duvet), blankets, curtains, -anything soft in the bedrooms. It’s awful because I’m lazy… but I am one of the crazy people who actually love LOVE laundry … so yeah, it’s a struggle. I feel for you! I have already started on lots of water and at least a spoonful of local honey per day for prevention. Gotta go sneeze now!!!!

I haven't had a colonoscopy but I just took my bestie in for one last week - he said all the worry about the prep was WAY over hyped, including the taste of the stuff, how much of it he had to drink, etc. The worst part was being hungry and tired. The best part of it was finding out he is healthy, which is what you and your fam will also love! Plus us ladies don't even poop or have colons so why are we even talking about this?!

Congrats on 30k. I use allergy covers on my sleeping pillows and mattress. The covers get washed very regularly on hot water cycle. I did get rid of all decorative ones. Just never was really using. I am just not a decorative pillow type I guess and I think they do hold dust. And no pets on my bed because of my allergies and asthma. It helped a lot. About using the last possible amounts I do the same things with deodorant , face cream , shampoo etc. lol like every last bit is precious.

Girl! Same same same. Wear pajamas for a week at a time some weeks. Showers ARE hard. Leave me retching and weak and dizzy and over-heated. So I avoid way too often. And the peri bottle is a great idea. Get something like hemorrhoid wipes just to wipe some of the excess moisture of after rinsing. It’ll do two things, wipe away the excess moisture and help with swelling and irritation from the constant pooing. And honestly, since you know so far in advance, I’d eat very light and healthy for the week before the test. Like concentrate on salads, especially iceberg lettuce because it has such a high water content. It’ll hopefully save you from a terrible night the night before the test. I love your bed, looks so pretty. You still need to put your rug back down. It adds a lot too! And I’m the same with the damn shopping. I never was a big shopper. But now I think I’m bored or I watch “influencers” redoing their cupboards and linen closets and hall closets and I want alllllllll the acrylic bins made by man. It’s getting to the point where our tiny house is bursting at the seams. I HAVE GOT TO STOP!! Now, as far as health goals, I’m doing a smidge better there. Been really good about taking supplements and prescriptions every day like I’m supposed to (yay me). Weighed myself a few days ago, down 4.6lbs. So not setting any land speed records but trending in the right direction. I did measure my waist last night….its almost as big as I am tall and that’s all I’m saying there. Maybe one day when I’m 122lbs again I’ll share what I got up to. For shock value. Right now it’s just too embarrassing. Room looks so pretty! And so does Sweet Potato!

Hi Beth, I have a drawer full of pajama’s, I clean house in them. I would rather ruin my pajama shirt than a nice shirt. There are days that I take a shower then put clean pajamas back on. I think you should have as many pajama’s as you want, ( as long as they all fit in your pajama drawer. Side note, my cat Molly loves your channel. I think I have about 5 pajama t- shirts, 2 long pants, and 3 shorts. But I have my 6 year old gather all the dirty clothes from around the house each morning, and my 8 year old starts a load in the washer every day. So we keep a more minimal wardrobe, and I just work it into my kids' chores to do daily laundry.

Journaling my ta-das each day instead of to-dos is my new year's resolution. I feel so much better even on the days that I just write "paid the bills" blah! 3. When you are prepping for your procedure and need to isolate in your room, it would be a great time to vacuum and mop your linen and master closet. We all know that they are "magazine picture perfect" from your last organization (real life, rigggght???). I'm just remembering how shocked we all were when you went into the Closet of Doom about how much hair that you found hidden there. You're doing awesome! Thank you for sharing your life with us!! 🙂

I love the bedspread. Colonoscopy prep was so terrible 🤮 for me! So I bought my husband a super cheap shower curtain liner to put on our bed when it was his turn, and then he had zero issues. Not fair. 😂. Good luck.

Okay, since you CLEARLY succumb to peer pressure... LOVE the bed cover. The colors are perfect and it gives "life" to the room without changing the over all vibe. I have a brother who had a ruptured diverticulitis (yeah exploded innards, not pretty) and he uses this product that you can get at the store to cleanse. So I am thinking COOL, I will try it just to clean things out! That's a good thing right? OH HELL NO! I was running to the bathroom for hours and this "B" does not run! LOL might wanna work on a pre cleanse so you are not literally strapped into your toilet. FUN TIMES!

Speaking of dreams, I dreamt that I was cleaning my aunt's house (she's been gone for 20 years). When I was almost done she and all my cousins came home and began to criticize my work and bully me. Thanks to you, I realized they were showing me love. Colonoscopies aren't that bad and you can wear Depends if you're nervous about that long route to the loo. I've heard that folks say funny things during the procedure so you should definitely record it for our amusement.

Sugar ants are invading our house. I think I am allergic to them. I haven’t had an allergy attack for years until I saw them. I immediately bought Terro ant killer that seems to help. Now I really don’t know if that is a thing. Eating at home is the best way to save money! It’s crazy how expensive crappy food is! 😂thanks for the very good video once you get started you are a really good cleaner!😊😊😊😊

I like the quilt but I would do two yellow pillows in front of the green pillow. Do you ever check if you might of accidentally put food in your nightstand? Or dust that area since it's right by your head. Could be why you sneeze so much in the middle of the night. I think you can wash the filters just dry them completely. I have one but just got it. Also mine is supposed to be 3 feet from any furniture

I was around 27 when I had my first scope. I have ibs and a history of just about every kind of cancer so why not. The cleanse was the worst part lol. I had the scope down the throat and up the bum. They knock you out so it was no big deal.

I love the quilt or whatever you call it. I want it for my bed. Also, I only wear pajamas when it dips into the 40s, which it rarely if ever does in South Florida. Otherwise, I sleep naked. I only have daughters, who are admittedly annoyed by my nudity at times, but they don’t have to be in my room at night if they don’t like it. So I have maybe one pair of pajamas and two pairs of pants I would just wear with whatever shirt I wore that day.

There is NEVER to many pajamas. Pajamas are life 😊 My husbands grandmother had a colonoscopy. After she was taken to recovery they said when you “release the air” ie fart, we will let you go home. She said “I do not fart”. They did eventually let her go. Not sure if she “released the air” or they just let her go home.

Beth - good for you for getting a colonoscopy. It sucks but it’s such a good idea for the reasons you listed. I wonder if the VA could set you up with an allergy doc and maybe get some allergy shots? I’ve been on them for about 4 years and my allergies are so much better. It’s a big time investment but so worth it. If Zyrtec gives you an issues with feeling dizzy/weird try Allegra. Also do you have a hepa filter in your room? That’s also been a game changer for me for dust and pet hair

Diluted vodka will do a pretty good job if you can't get unscented febreeze. 2 parts vodka to one part water in a clean spray bottle and then hang things up- outside if you can because UV helps too as does the breeze. I used that technique and steaming to get the smoke smell out of some dry clean only clothes which had been stored at my dads house and it was quite effective even though they were properly gross because he smokes so much.

I really like your bedding. So, it must stay. 😂😂 Have you ever used the unscented Lysol Spray... it is antibacterial. That may help your allergies much more. I spray all my bedding and mattress every week when I change my sheets. Dander gets on everything. I have 6 or 7 sets of pj's... and they are all the same. I'm rocking zebra stuff right now. 😂😂😂 You can wear your Barbie underwear to walk the dogs... problem solved. I can't remember, but if you have a ceiling fan, clean it too. It has crazy dustbunnies!! When my allergies are relentless and won't clear up, I have to grit my teeth and clean like crazy too. Wonderful video!
