My son was paralyzed at age 17. He was the quarterback at his high school and had the highest completion in Dekalb County. Getting back from UGA Quarterback Camp, he decided to go out in pouring down rain, not knowing that was his last day he would walk. He is now a Christian licensed counselor for the state of Georgia, he is married and had daughter was born on his birthday. His wife reminds me of this man. She fell in love with my son, even in his condition. Enjoyed this couple, now, I see or define love differently. I know God can restore her sight. Thanks, strong black man and gorgeous black woman 😂🙏🏼

This is so heartfelt and romantic because he truly loves her during sickness and health issues. They’re a normal couple that knows each other’s lives and dealing with every day problems. I have kidney issues that I’m dealing with and her discussing how she dealt with it mentally, medically, psychologically and physically prepared me for my own journey. Her story it so relatable on a spiritual levels. The person that asked her about how they have sex it so distaste beyond stupidity because for me making love is so emotional and its based on touching and feelings, so she blind and common sense should tell you that her touches are her senses and sensory abilities for her now that she has loss her sights 💯percent and this is now her reality period. This is story that needed to be told. They have the the perfect bond when it comes to their relationship and both communicate and understand each other better than anyone else.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I grew up with a dad like Richard. My mother had Juvenile diabetes. In her late thirties, she suffered renal failure. My dad stayed faithful. By the time she passed away at the age of 42, she'd also suffered both leg amputations and blindless. Again, my dad was right by her side. He faithfully took care of her and us. I am brought to tears, just watching and listening to you both, while I remember how amazing my father was. Illness took a toll on her body, but he said she was always beautiful to him. Real love is so much deeper, than the physical. It is unbelievable how rude people are to say the most ignorance things to you. My older sister, also suffered with health challenges. She lost her eyesight as soon as her baby was born. She then endured renal failure and dialysis for fifteen years. Her first husband didn't feel it was fair as it happened in the beginning of their marriage. He forsook their vows and left her. As God would have it, her ex-boyfriend from high school reunited with her. He was a true blessing in all of our lives. He loved her and knew her before she was sick. He loved beyond what was physical. He married her and faithfully cared for her. She was strong and independent. She cooked, cleaned, did her own make-up, etc. She was amazing. I have a wonderful lineage of strong women. Kenneth, her husband, took her dancing, out to eat, movies, etc. Even in a wheelchair. He was never embarrassed to be seen with her. He made sure that she knew she was loved. She went through a lot of suffering. She was always joyful. She did have her moments as expected, but for the most part a true pillar of strength. Your love story is beautiful. I smiled, laughed, and cried as I watched this Podcast. Bless you L. Whitfield for always imparting truth, love, and wisdom. I am earnestly praying for you both Richard and Tiffini.

Wow! Seeing this couple gave me chills knowing what they have gone through and still going through. Ladies, there's a lesson for all females to learn and that is, never chase after a man, let him be the one because it's a known fact that men like a challenge. Genuine Friendships are the best to have before intimacy. Even in the animal kingdom, females won't dare let a male touch her right away. She makes him wait, and his desire is so strong he'll fight to get what he wants. That's makes you more attractive... The reason good men are hard to find is because we make ourselves too easy to be found. Stop looking for them and they'll find you. Take heed....

I love this couple. I normally don’t comment on any page. Their story was so moving for several reasons. I’ve had type 1 diabetes since 1996. I was in my late twenties. I’m in my mid fifties now. I was married for almost 25 years and my husband left me for a mistress I didn’t know of. I suspected it and asked him the question “are you having an affair”. He told me no. Our marriage wasn’t perfect but we said that divorce wasn’t an option for us early in our marriage. So when he told me no, I believed him. I’ve been a Christian almost my entire life and he was also. We raised our children Christian. I became a diabetic during our marriage. I’ve been divorced for almost 10 years and I was so afraid to let anyone in my life because of the fear of someone hurting me so deeply again. Your story gives me hope that someone will love me regardless of my health challenges. I love Tiffany how your husband loves you.. I would like to experience that kind of love. Thank you❤

Tiffany is beautiful inside and out and Rich is such an amazing man! This is an incredible love story! Im glad she saw him before losing her sight. They are definitely soul mates! His devotion and dedication to her in spite of all her debilitating illnesses is a testimony to them taking their vows seriously; for better or worse. Im praying that God moves supernaturally on her behalf. Tiffany is so strong. Lord please heal her body in Jesus name.

Where are men like him? There are many of us out here who would appreciate someone like him. What a story!
@watitduful3 жыл бұрын
They’re out there and plentiful. It’s that they get taken up quickly. It’s one of those things where if a woman can’t recognize him then better believe the woman that does appreciate him snags him up. With that, a woman must be the right type of woman to be with a man like that. One woman’s “corny” is the next woman’s companion and king 🤷🏾♂️

This episode highlighted impacts on mental health in a real way as well as able ism. Ppl have the nerve to approach Tiffany with such personal questions and comment on her worthiness of marriage and love due to her disability. This episode was touching and really needed. I hope Dear Future Wifey does an update season so we can know what happened. I wonder if she now has a donor.

@Adeola: I agree that he didn’t have to hence showing his character. However, if it were me I would’ve had a sit down with her early on and questioned her intentions towards me. I would’ve asked her if she was actually choosing to let my love in genuinely or because she figured that her former life plan was halted and that I was a stand in to suffice. That’s a very good man and the last thing to do is try to take someone for granted and use them. I do believe that she loves him but still has self issues and projects it onto him. We can see that at the beginning where she overemphasized the fact that she hated his efforts and considered him corny and “friend zoned” him. I found that to be a bit distasteful especially on a public broadcasting. If she really loves that man she’ll fight to get over her personal hang ups and reciprocate that love even via having respect for him & his feelings.
@teneyaamor14513 жыл бұрын
@@watitduful I understand where you're coming from...but she was looking for lust and love, tied together. Like many people do. She didn't sexually desire him on levels she's previously experienced so she didn't want his love. "corny, friend zoned, hate he put too much effort in" means no sexual desire. Some people date differently than others which is why the two were incompatible. His love wasn't enough for her. Attraction has little to do with working through your issues when it comes to being attracted to someone good. People are attracted to different things and a lot of it has to do with what someone has seen while growing up and their prior sexual experiences.

I just watched this episode, and it touched my heart and soul. I hope and pray that Tiffany has or will find her living donor soon. For those of you who are thinking about being a living donor for Tiffany (if she hasn't found one yet), I am here to tell you it will be one of the most rewarding things you will do in your life. How do I know? I am a living (liver) donor, and I have NO regrets. My post-surgery physical health, outside of the normal healing process and a scar, is unaltered, and I was able to help someone else (that I didn't even know) live!

I was sad at first but then I started cracking up laughing Tiffany is funny ! People are ridiculous I can’t believe total strangers come up to them with the most random mess…Why can’t he just be with her because he loves her?! Tiffany being blind doesn’t change who she is on the inside he loves her and she isn’t some charity case. It’s honestly sad that Rich loving Tiffany and being good to her is so shocking to so many..that just goes to show you where we are as people.
