I have been battling the Spirit of Depression since end of Feb/beg of March. I stopped talking to close friends, stopped want to deal with people in general, slept a lot, and go days in the same pj's. I even went out of my way to avoid all of the Dear Future Wifey Podcasts. Like, leave the room bc my stomach was turning. Then my Gma died 4/12 of something completely preventable, and my depression got worse. I'm a nurse and I blamed myself for not knowing what I didn't know. By 5/11, I was apathetic and numb I told God I was ok if I didn't wake up in the morning. I debated whether to have my son drive me to the ER for a 5150, or call the police myself. The Holy Spirit told me if I have enough self awareness to realize I needed that level of help and was willing to seek it from man, that I could go to Him in prayer. He told me to try that FIRST. So I did, and the Holy Spirit went to battle for me. And I know He delivered me from a major stronghold that night. One of the first things that I did once I was relieved of that burden, was to watch to do a future wifey podcast. I watched it in my car as I was driving to work my first overnight shift since the death of my grandma. When I tell you God used this episode to continue to save me from myself. I don't have the words to express how God used you two gentlemen. I can't help but feel like you guys saved my life on that night, and renewed The clarity of my purpose in this life. And by doing so you've saved the lives of my children, and future generations. Bless you all.

Amazing Sister! Our Heavenly Father is SO LOVING, COMPASSIONATE & CONNECTED. I've been there too! Never uttered your feelings U expressed about not waking up, but felt like what is the purpose? Remember this Sis, God is a Refuge, a safe place, and the name of JESUS has GREATER POWER over anything that has a name. For my seasons of occasional sadness, lethargy and complacency I share these: Psalm 18:1-3 (depression is an enemy) Psalm 46:1; Psalm 61:1-3 Psalm 91 - particularly vs 2-4. God IS mighty ABLE! And I'm real happy about the FACT that nothing can separate us from HIS LOVE. GO in the confidence of Jehovah God knowing that everything in your life has purpose & God has been with U thru the best of times/the worst of times. Romans 8:28. Be encouraged. What he went through is what I feel everyday, all day. There are times I get a break but the the attack comes again. His testimony showed me how strong I am. It also showed me why people who make it passed these principalities are so powerful. Those who goes through a rank of spirit everyday. Children who are abuse deals with this all day.
