If they added more eposides of them facing obstacles of a blended family it would have been more interesting .No more talk about the kids' mom or dad, and was it that easy for Greg to call Carol mom and for Marcia to accept Mike as their father. I can see Bobby and Cindy willing to call Mike and Carol mom and dad, but the oldest would be more hesitant. Carol and Alice are getting in eachothers way, as Carol is trying to adjust to having someone to help with the housework. Mike adjusted to having three daughters.

in my opinion, Robert Reed most definitely added a touch of class to the show. without him being Americas dad at that time, I don’t think the show would have had the same longevity. he and Florence had such believable chemistry

Little Brady location fun fact: the fictitious town of Kingsford, Illinois is almost exactly 2,000 miles away from the Brady home in Studio City. If you Google the directions from Studio City to Palatine, Illinois, you get almost 2,000 miles. In 1969, this would have been a vague clue, pre-internet, as to the state and city the Bradys lived.

Mike and Carol must have had time to run upstairs and change completely into entirely different outfits before TV time! Haha!
@TVHouseHistorian Жыл бұрын
I hadn’t noticed that!!! Clearly one of the many Brady blocking bloopers we love so much about the show 😂 One explanation for the error might be the fact that the adults filmed all of the grownups-only scenes in the evening, after the children all went home. So maybe costuming hadn’t been notified. I’m surprised the actors didn’t catch onto this and make the correction themselves. Costuming bloopers like this happened several times in the first season. The episode “To Move or Not to Move” is one of those where Carol comes downstairs in the morning wearing the exact same outfit she wore the evening before.

Dumb show. First of all, if Alice spoke to both of them about this, (they both approached Alice); that means she knew neither one wrote the letter; and she should have just told them; and everyone else. And how often did Dear Abby (or Dear Libby as they're calling her here) do house calls? And I love how Dear Libby walks in and even Alice, a 45 year old adult, like hides behind a couch... If Libby wanted to kill the suspense, she could have just printed an update in next weeks column; clearing things up as she did doing this stupid house call. Reality quotient: Zero.
