Dear teenage girls, never apologize for being who your are, for living your best life, and being the best version of you. Dear teenage girls, embrace your brains you’re smart not just a pretty face cause under that pretty face is a beautiful and crazy smart brain. And lastly... Dear teenage girls, never change who you are for someone else it’s NEVER worth it but if you do decide it’s time for a change please only do it with your best intentions in mind

@@kamilidancy1674 I just have had this experience. Me and my best friend dated and it was great...at first then we kinda fell off and he said he fell out of love with me. then he said he did love me. and then he said he was confused and he didn't know what he wanted. I felt so alone when I had so many people around me! Then me and him tied our ends together and became friends again. I was still hooked on him. He was there for me thick and thin and he was there when I had no one else. But he left out of nowhere. I found out he got another girl and it broke me. I didn't know what to do. So I started loving myself. Trying to hang out with friends and just be me! He gave me a lot of stress. I would look at my phone constantly to see if he would text me no response. So when he ran back to me I didn't respond. Yes, it is so hard! It was and still is hard to let the friendship be gone I never thought in a million years me and him won't be as close as we are. I still love him like crazy because we just had a big connection but I learned that he wanted me to chase him. NEVER chase a boy. It will be hard I promise it will be. But you have to keep your head up show him how amazing you are and what a great person you can be. You are not alone I promise you will get through this even though it will be hard! Don't give up on yourself and don't feel alone you got this! I am still going through this because it happened within this past month. I just stayed strong and I keep working on me!

The best advice to give to a teenage girl is that in 5-10 years, no one is going to remember the jeans you had, the makeup you had, or the haircut you had. What people will remember is “oh yes, she was super nice!” Would you want someone to think of you as pretty or nice? Well, every girl is both. The happiest girls are the prettiest girls. If other people are body shaming you, don’t let them change how you feel because you were not born to be judged by others you were born to serve the lord. You are perfect the way you are and your body is just a suit for your beautiful soul inside of it💖

Damn! The girl who say this is so right: “Never be so loyal to someone that you betray yourself in the process”. That’s real! If helping other person or “make them happy”, or be with them, means you have to change yourself or betray your beliefs and values, it’s not worth it. It drains your energy, believe me, I been there before, and it’s horrible feeling that you can’t share something because they won’t like it and will go. Never please neveeer hide parts of you soul in order to be with someone. At the end of the day, that parts will want to go out. Be yourself since the beginning and the right people will stay with you. And will help you become a better person ❤️❤️ This is a beautiful video 🙌🏼💖

I absolutely agree, and want to point out that this advice doesn't only go for the romantic relationships in your life. Through my teenage years, I've had friends that changed or were toxic in my life that I wasted my time and energy on trying to keep those unhealthy friendships alive. You deserve so much more than that. Never let yourself think anything g different. Also, don't be afraid of losing friends or fear people not liking you because you walked away because you can't lose "friends" that you never had, and it gives you the opportunity to surround yourself with people who love and care about you. You will be so much happier and that's all that matters. Trust me, I lived it.

Attention all girls... The amount of years you have known someone doesn't equate to the strength of a friendship. A girl you have known for 10 could change and become toxic. A girl you met a month ago could be one of your soul mates. Keep that in mind. And if your friends do become toxic don't let it taint all of your memories you still had good times, you were both kind to each other else you wouldn't be friends in the first place. Just remember to stay you because you ate the greatest you I have ever met :) (a letter to teenage girls from a teenage girl)

And don't be afraid to have multiple friend groups!! Everyone says that you meet new friends in high school and your old ones drift off, but if you're in an awesome friend group, you don't HAVE to leave. You can be in two or more groups and hang out with different groups at different times. I have a group I've been with since middle school and we've only grown closer, but I'd be lying if I said my friend group in theatre aren't some of my best and most hilarious friends.

Some advice: That person, whether your gf or bf, does not determine your worth and they are not what completes you. Not getting asked to homecoming or prom doesn't mean much in the future and again does not determine your desirability as a person. Go out with your girls, dress up, have fun, or have a netflix night instead. Being introverted doesn't mean you're less likeable either, and being outspoken and opinionated doesn't make you a bitch. Above all be kind to yourself and others.

Dear teenage girls.... I was in your shoes not to many years ago, so here is some advice that I could have used when I was a teen... -yes girls are known for being kind, caring and considerate. But there is a line, don't let people walk all over you and don't give people to many chances -It's hard. But don't take clothing sizes and numbers too seriously. The commercial industry has unrealistic standards and they aren't consistent across the board. As long as you are happy and like the clothes you are wearing who cares. -You're emotions will be a rollercoaster and inconsistent a lot of the time thanks to hormones. It's ok, It's normal, You're not crazy. Just know when you need your space vs. when you could use a hug and be with your people. And as Joey says- stay you, stay beautiful.

Similar situation here. I got bullied when I was 4. It was an all-girls team, so me, a dumb 4-year-old, didn't wanna be friends with girls. I tired a couple of groups of girls in elementary school but wasn't treated right by them either. At recess, I played kickball with the boys (didn't really consider them as my friends since we didn't see each other outside of school, and I didn't confide in them). I got my first lasting friendships in 6th grade, and my first female friend was made in 7th grade. I am in school wanting to peruse performance in trumpet, a male dominant instrument, so most of my friends are guys that are slightly older than me.

I forgot I had ever made friends before and my anxiety caused my to become sick every few weeks and go numb and faint in class. I'm a teenage girl. I'm currently in my last year of high school. I know I'm going to graduate but I cannot celebrate anything. I know it's tough. I looked forward to it for so long. I think a lot of people are with me on this one. You're not alone!! And also to any girl out there who needs to see this: please make sure that you respect/love yourself. Selfrespect is one of the most important things and I learned that the hard way. Please remember that you're loved and worth so much more than you could ever imagine.

My story: I was bullied back in middle school so since I’ve struggled with my self-esteem and I thought I wasn’t good enough because of all they said. “Ugly”, “fat”, “you’re not good enough”, “idiot” and so on. After all those years, when I entered highschool, I surrounded myself with ppl i can proudly call my best friends. They taught me that life is more than me being worried about others’ opinions about me and I am actually one really nice person to be friends with (not to sound to confident) So my advice: Don’t make a mistake I made. I had luck to meet ppl like that and change. If you are reading this comment, know this: -you are *enough* -your body is just pretty the way it is -your opinion about yourself matters more than you think Once you start loving the way you are, you will see change in everything, and by that i really mean everything. Life does get better. Just don’t give up on yourself.

They don't know you; who u truly are, and if they did, they wouldn't even have thought to say those things to u. Its never a problem until someone makes it a problem. So just don't listen to their hate because someone will love you- for you and only you- flaws and all.

Teenage is a period when you are like lost . You are in this world not knowing what is right or wrong . I guess it's important to avoid negative advices and stick to what you think is right for you . It's a growing stage and confusion is very common . Being a teenage girl I have learned that , if you need to stand out from the crowd , you just have to be yourself . Fight for yourself , battle the strongest wars and together we can make this world a better place . And , Just like Joey Kidney says " Stay You , Stay Beautiful . ",

it never matters how long you’ve been friends with someone, you know what you deserve and if they aren’t treating you right, it’s ok to leave. it’s gets better. my moms always told me, “if someone makes you choose friends, choose the one who didn’t make you choose because they’ll take you further in life. if they make you choose then they’re not really your friend, they just want your attention and will leave you when you’re low instead of picking you back up. quality over quantity when it comes to people.” ive had my share of toxic friends, situations, drama, depression, suicidal thoughts and more and i genuinely believe it gets better. once your at your lowest you can only get better from there. it’s the amazing days with your friends or family, even by yourself that are worth the bad times, they may last longer or feel like they do but it’s worth it

The best advice I could give to teenage girls is to remember that your feelings are valid. It's okay to get upset sometimes; to get angry or to cry. Some days you're mad at the whole world and you just want to scream at the top of your lungs. Some days you cry for hours and hours and can't stop, and you have no idea why. All of that is okay. You don't have to be strong 100% of the time. It's important to talk to people, to have at least one person that you can let in and that you can vent to about everything that's going on. It doesn't matter who it is, as long as it's someone you trust. That will make you feel a lot less alone. The last thing I want to say is to keep your chin up. Everything happens for a reason and, though you may not realize it in the moment, you learn a lot when you're a teen. You learn a lot about yourself, and about life. It can be very hard and painful at times, but you aren't alone, and you'll get through it.❤️

I’m a 17 year old girl. My best friend of 3 years betrayed me in one of the most hurtful ways possible and then did it to my other friend. All 3 of us were quick to make swipes at each other online without outright saying who it was for but if I could go back or if I could magically have the ability to not be effected by the things she did, I would. I want to be able to just brush it off and ignore if but holy shit it’s hard. If something like that happens or if you feel the way that I do, please remember that secretly bashing someone doesn’t make the situation better. You might feel better for a second but how are you going to feel in 10 years when you think back and realize that you might’ve made her feel bad about herself at the time, even if she didn’t act like it bothered her. We are all good at heart and if you want to be like that, you have to be kind to those who have hurt you. Yes, it’ll be super hard and it may annoy you to not get revenge on the person who hurt you so badly but in the end, it just shows that you care about people’s feelings more than a stupid petty highschool drama.

I'd say the best advice I could give is be yourself. I'd say that i'm almost friends with every single person at my school and it's not because i'm dating a hot boy, because im not. it's not because I have a nice ass body, because I know mines not perfect. and it's not because I have the prettiest face amongst all these beautiful faces. it's because i'm me. authentically myself. I get on that stage and pretend to be a mean girl and do the whole dance infront of the school and not care what others think. cause some people aren't very impressed by it let me tell you. I'm just saying that you will go so much farther if you just stay true to your morals and just be yourself.... or stay you.

im almost ending my teens, and i have to say, i wish i heard these advice earlier. growing up, i was a really friendly person, a mum figure in school. once i reached the age of 11, i started dieting and closing myself off to people because i didnt have the confidence. i wish i didnt. i wish i kept that heck care, confident attitude, because i would be a totally different person if i did. right now, at the age of 18, i have only 3 friends, struggling in studies, trust issues with everyone around me. i cant leave the house without my earpieces blasting music to distract me from the voices that destroys my esteem. if i held my old persona tightly and powered through back then, i would have way more friends, be happier and be able to confidently walk out of the house. so my advice is to ignore the negativity inside your head, keep doing what you know is right, and do your best to be happy and stay happy.

Thank you. Thank you for this. I watched a couple of times already and I keep coming back, when I get this weird feeling, that I can't put into words and everytime I feel better. I am not a teenage girl, not anymore. I am 21, but watching my little sister and being back home where I spent all of my teenage years, I've started to remeber a lot of things from then, and the most important thing I can say is find someone you trust, your bestfriend, your sister, your weird elderly neighbour or your boyfriend. It doesn't matter, and who am I to tell you what age or gender the person you trust most should be. But try to find them and make sure that they know, that you love them, even if you haven't talked to them in weeks, because your brain needed some time off, even in those times they should know, that you'll always love them, and that they will always love you. Because if you have that, you can get through nearly anything.

But as a teenage girl now in this day and age with the pressure of social media and fitting in boundaries is hard not even going to try to make it seem like its light work. but were told to get over it and grow up because were more mature. one thing that will always be the same is that we have to have ourselves because who else will? That's was... very amazing. I mean, I'm 18 but I've been through a phase of seeing myself negatively, though, that is changed now. I'm a lot more... Me. I love myself, my life and appreciate what I have. Yeah, I sometimes feel a little off about things I shouldn't worry about but I'm trying my best to be more positive. Thank you for this video. I would just give one advice and it's that, don't ever feel that you're alone. Just talk to someone when you feel left out or lonely. Let's just wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say I love you (your name) ❤

Dear teenage girl I know it’s hard and people give you a hard time but you must always remember to be kind to everyone even those who hurt you because you never know what they are going through. Stay you. Stay true. Stay beautiful. :)

Dear teenage me: Most of the advice I want to give, you won’t know how to follow because it all takes time and growth. So i’ll just say this: You’re okay, and you’re going to be okay. The world will not swallow you. Keep reaching for the light. Your future is out here in the real world. I know it’s hard, but just keep your eyes on the horizon and follow what makes your heart beat faster. Follow it hard. ❤️

This is soo amazing and thoughtful and oddly this helped me a lot, I'm a teenage girl that lost her dad long before I became a teenager so I never got advice from him but I feel like he would have been very similar. So thank you for giving me something I didn't know I needed.

I feel like some of the people who give the best advice don’t always follow it themselves (not always), but i want to assure all the people that are super kind and lifting to other people but tear themselves apart in the process, just listen to yourself. It really helps to know that the things you say matter, and don’t just apply to other people, you don’t need anyone else to make you feel better, what i found that really helps, is that i write down the things i say to other people and then read them back to me as if i was saying it to myself. It really helped my anxiety in 6th and 7th grade.💛💕

Advice I wish I followed when I was a teenager: look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself one thing that you like about yourself! And every morning say a different thing. Whether that is your hair, your eyes, your legs, your humor, your kindness ect. By focusing on good and positive things you start seeing yourself in a good light and become proud of who your are. Don't take out the magnifying glass and judge every single thing about yourself. I used to look in the mirror and say "I don't like my nose, I wish my hair was thicker, I hate how shy I am etc". And you start to hate yourself. It's easier to focus on your flows because you see yourself a hundred times a day in the mirror and so you are the only one that sees your flaws. I found out that nobody even thought/cared about those "flaws" that I was worried about. It was all in my head. I thought my nose was huge, but people have said how cute they think my nose is because it's so small. IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD. When you start focusing on the good things you'll noticed that there is only one you and you'll become proud of that and will become more confident in yourself. ❤️❤️✨

I’m no longer a teen, I turn 21 in June. But some of the things in this video were actually super helpful. Thank you for this video and the vlogs it’s really helping through lockdown here in the UK. The best piece of advice I would give to a teen girl. Is be yourself, be true to who you are and don’t change to be someone your not. Just be yourself, let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful and magical person YOU are.

I just found out about this video, and it hit me. Being a teenage girl is hard, and right now during this pandemic everything's different. For me it's a time to think about everything that happened to me and to think about the future, but I forget to think about now. Thanks to your video I'm thinking about now, what can I do to make myself happy right now. How can I get all this anger, fear and tears out? And it helps. Right now all I need is a hug💕 Edit(4 weeks later): I'm feeling so muh better, got everything out in my songwriting, and now feeling happier than ever. Teengirls out here, just be yourself, and take the time to find yourself! You'll be so much happier!!

This literally made my day🤗 Dear Teenage Girls: it's going to be one of the most difficult times in your life, trying to figure out who you are and who you want to be. Just know that your not alone. Stick with your girls, yes of course we all get into fights with one another but just remember the ones who stay in your life when it gets tough are the ones worth fighting for. Yes, high school can be tough and it's just as much of a challenge when you move schools, or change schools, or lose friends. Don't try to be someone your not, learn to love yourself, and accept who you are. Don't let anyone say who you can and can't be, you are you and that's entirely up to you. The moment you decide to love yourself and the moment you learn to accept yourself for who you are, will be the day you will conquer the world. Just know I'm here if anyone wants to talk. Your not alone💜
