People don't talk about how Lauren and Kristin were the first teenagers that we saw their real adolescents and early adulthood broadcast in real time. Before that, most reality shows were simulated situations or situations of people being put into experimental circumstances. Like "The real world","The bachelor", "Survivor". We watched Lauren and Kristin's real lives be turned into a soap opera and they became social influencers because of it. That had never happened before that time. The lives of these two girls changed reality tv and social influencing forever. The housewives franchises and all of our favorite docudrama reality shows were built on the success of Lauren and Kristin in captivating the masses.

Oh man this felt a bit awkward! So glad these 2 were able to sit and chat but I wish Lauren was more open to speak to her experiences. It should’ve been more of a conversation since they know each other but the interview format was cringey. I also thought it was inappropriate for Whitney to put her on the spot when she mentioned how she felt Lauren didn’t like her due to the mutual friend. That’s something you talk in private. I guess Lauren closed off after that and gave generic responses. This felt forced as Whitney tried to seem relatable to Lauren’s responses.

I began counting each time "like" was said instead of listening to the content. The message got lost because of the overuse of this word.
