I agree ....it's so fun riding bikes....it brings back childhood memories too which makes it even more fun ....it was a favorite activity as a child too❤ makes u feel much younger

I started riding again 10 years ago at age 57. Nine months ago I had a cardiac arrest (long family history) and 'died' (stopped breathing and heart stopped) and was brought back twice. The ER cardiologist said I would not have made it if my heart wasn't so strong from cycling (I've been averaging 5000+ miles per year). Six weeks after getting out of the hospital I was back on my bike, indoors and carefully! :) Now nearly back to fully strength and loving every minute on my bike!!!

Amazing to hear that!!! I really hope you proceed in future with caution since cycling is a cardio sport and very dependant on the heart's well being which might exacerbate any weaknesses as well. I'm sure your doc has told you this and more but just giving my two cents as a biology student. I wish you a long healthy life!!

I rode hard the day i heard Toby died 😢, I've worked through several deaths of family or close friends behind the Bars,( handle bars),, And funny you talk about age, l also always feel and act like a kid when riding. Which is when I have to be careful not to over do it and get a injury. I just never feel pain on the bike. I recently for fun built a ebike using flat pedals and wearing regular work boots, Because I figured I'd go out and ride mellow 😀,, Oh Hell no!! my old motocross brain kicked in and I was chasing kids on there mountain bikes through the woods, It was a blast..... Three weeks later im still dealing with planters fasciitis😢..Back to the drawing board,😅😅
