I even won some of those races.” And then Flash just deadpans “Those were for charity, Clark” and completely leaves Supes in the dust without another thought or any real effort.

Fun fact:Marvel actually fully acknowledged in their own comics in a tribute once that:Yes, Flash is faster than every superhero in marvel when a strange man who couldnt remember his name appeared in ripped red and gold clothes, saying he could only remember his name was something like "Buried Alien" a direct tribute to Barry Allen, had a race with literally all the fastest heroes in marvel, i think Quick silver included and literally ran circles around them. Marvel actually on their own admitted defeat and paid respect to him, it was a really cool thing

Quasar #17; I had the comic. Of the various characters racing in that issue, about the only one who MIGHT be able to match Barry Allen's raw speed was Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau); but I don't think her light powers gave her the same super-speed thought processes that Barry has, so Barry probably has the edge in terms of agility. Then again, Monica can fly, and Barry's attempts to simulate flight are not his strong suit, so maybe she'd take him out that way. (More likely, though, they'd pick up on each other's cop vibes and say, "wanna go get a beer?")

Well not a slug but Wally is the fastest, he's pretty much the fastest thing in fiction short of God, only Barry has been shown to keep up with Wally not faster but keep up with him. A few years ago during Flash War that beef between Barry and Wally racing while arguing around the world they nearly destroyed the multiverse lol 😂😂Both Green Lantern and Superman tried to stop them both failed, Superman couldn't catch them he said "they're going too fast" and GL formed a huge wall where they were headed racing around the world but Wally literally ran right through it nearly breaking GL's ring, Barry stopped to see if Hal was ok then caught up with Wally again.

To be fair to your point, that can apply to everyone look at anime sometimes and characters like One Punch Man among other characters in video games, and DC and Marvel etc that are just stupid OP at times.

Fun fact: Humans are actually the best runners on Earth. Sure there are things that are faster, like a cheetah. But few things could beat us in say a marathon, and if you replaced marathon with "keep running until you can't anymore." humans would always win. In fact the hunting strategy that put human on top in the ice age was "Find what you want to eat. Injure it so it gets scared and starts running. Chase it so it never stops. Kill it once it's too tired to keep running or fight back."

After the (first) death of Barry Allen, Marvel Comics had a one-shot where Quicksilver and the other speedsters of the Marvel multiverse had a race ... Out of nowhere, a speedster in a tattered scarlet costume came in and won the race ... Basically, it was Marvel's tribute to The Flash, and admission that The Flash is faster.

12:42 Yeah, I understand the confusion. He's still a mutant. The reason his backstory was changed back than because Marvel didn't have the rights to the mutants, so they changed Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's backstory so they could be in the MCU. Fortunately, that's not an issue anymore, and Marvel made them mutants again.

Death Battle was kind enough to use the SECOND FASTEST and SECOND MOST POWERFUL Flash against Quicksilver, which is Barry Allen, and yet he outclassed Quicksilver so colossally that it wasn't slightly fair, well, you guys gonna see the potential of the be all end all of speedsters in comics in Flash(Wally West) vs Sonic, I know Barry is the most iconic but, Wally is, well, I was gonna say speed itself, but I think he surpasses even the concepts of speed and reality(you'll see in his feats on that Death Battle)... "Where nothing exists, death doesn't exists aswell"

I was conflicted with this Death Battle because I love both Flash & Quicksilver. I like Flash more because he's one of my top five favorite superheroes! The same time, I like Quicksilver's journey from being a villain, to anti-hero to an Avenger. At the end of the day, I knew Flash was going to win lol. Fair decision on this fight. And as soon as i saw the name of Flash, i was like "There is no way Quicksilver is gonna win" and i was right. Cause flash is so fast that he can not just rewrite whole universes, but make a new ones, and his speed force is just beyond anything. So yeah, i knew from the beginning that Flash is gonna win.

10 times light speed is a disrespect to Barry Allen's speed. He has Moved half a million people out of a city (One by one) in the time it took a Nuke to expand (After it detonated) and Raced to the end of time Heck the first time he ran he broke through time barrier. In simple terms you can calculate how fast that is. Because Speed = Distance/Time. This Breaks the formula itself.

It was Me Barry, I put that statue there Can't wait for that Death Battle(if you know, you know) also, Flash Point was Crazy, Barry goes back in time to save his mom and Unintentionally creates a world with a war between the Atlantians and Amazonians with Humanity in the crossfire(6:28), Superman's pod crashes into the city and is imprisoned for years by the government instead of Kansas for the Kents to adopt him(6:30), and Bruce died that night in crime ally leading to his Father to become the Batman and his Mother to Become the Joker(6:33)

Technically he didn’t create that world , it was initially hinted to be Pandora and later retconned to Dr Manhattan altering the universe, Barry just happened to be outside of time when the changes happened so he wasn’t affected You can see this by the fact that traditionally Barry’s parents were both alive and well when he was an adult that was retconned around 2009 when they brought him back and changed his origin (slightly messing up Wally’s in the process) and by the thing that alters the world so drastically being an alteration to Superman’s origin which is what Manhattan was messing with

This is one was basically one sided battle. After watching the Flash TV series, Flashpoint Paradox (which I highly recommend BTW), and reading some comics on Barry, The Flash is busted. Don't even get me started on Wally West. Watch Flash vs Sonic, so you can see why going against DC speedsters is futile. After watch Reverse Flash vs Goku Black, possibly my top 5 favorite Death Battle.

Flash is way more broken than Wiz and Boomstick let on. He has moved faster than an instant. Iirc, there was a video years ago measuring how fast this would have to be, and it ended up being something like 10 duo decillion times faster than light. He literally only loses because of the plot in anything he's in.

Quicksilver got lucky it wasn't against Wally West Flash. Wally would steal Quicksilver's speed add it to his own making him even faster and than could kill Quicksilver billions of times before his body even hit the ground. Also Wally West Flash ran faster than the Speed Force in the Flash Forward storyline. Wally West Flash was faster than even omnipresence making him the fastest being in all of existence. That's excluding omnipotent beings because duh lmfao.
