When he called him "Jimmy", James knows he's addressing him like the people that knows him well... That is scary as hell
@TS1r731 Жыл бұрын
I took it as a complete insult… the doc wanted the demon to call him Dr. Martin because the doc knows that names do have power. Since the doc didn’t want to call the demon by his elected name “Lord High Prince” the demon figured that he would insult him by using the most childish name.. in this case “Jimmy”

Yes. Man this movie is great.

He basiclly told Jimmy that he is disrespectful for not addressing Nefarious by his title, but demands that Nefarious adresses his. Thats why he explains that names are important & have power, then he confirms it with Jimmy and adresses him by his real name and not his desired title to piss em off. He throws the importance of respecting some ones name right back into his face. Smooth.

All the dialogues in this movie are extremely smooth and full of ester eggs. The script is genius

That’s how demons work, they want their will of title to dictate their life so if anyone goes against it they will use the same methods against the other

What was amazing was when he said he knew the value of patience, and inhabited James body right at the end

Which breaks the rules the movie established at the start: possession isn't like jumping into a car and driving away, it's a long drawn out process of taking control incrementally.

Has anyone else noticed that they always take down the part from this movie where he discusses abortion as a sacrament?

because they actually didnt pin all the blame on the mother and showed how accountable to the decision making process he was in this scenario. and thats what actually scares people the most.

I noticed that the demon's eyes in this film are bright as opposed to the all-black portrayals in other cinematic works like "Supernatural".

This movie which is based on a book is the closest to the actual truth of the goings on with the eternal game of " who can destroy who" The absolute truth can an will utterly and honestly throw the entire human race into a mental/ spiritual meltdown! There will soon be a book that is written as a series of accounts by a " Fallen" who has no name but has bore witness to everything! The book is going to be called " Before the Beginning" It tells the truth about the ( creator) and the situations that incurred. These accounts predate the Genesis by well over several hundred million years earthbound time, but only days (beyond the veil time). I'm sure it will... I stand corrected... I guarantee this book will be bastardized, demonized, cancelled, and other actions taken against it's truth!
