The level of detail and similar ideas makes these MOCs feel like a collaboration, but I know that's not true, they're just a bunch of really good MOCs.

Looking at LegoDavid's build right now, do the eyes in the Scarox mask fit the really tiny accessory pin pieces? I'm curious how he got the green eyes popping out a bit like that.

I want to do my own moc but I honestly have no idea where to start. I have alot of bionicle pieces just laying around but if I made a moc It would be several different colors. I guess I just have to buy actual sets and use those pieces. Also I bought a pound of random bionicle pieces and hero factory pieces. The armor pieces all have it where to connect the armor you'd have to use a ball joint. How do you connect the armor piece to a bare bionicle leg( let's say metru leg) how do you connect the ccbs armor to it if it doesn't have a ball joint connection on the leg? Am I supposed to buy a 2 axle piece then snap it Into the leg then snap a ball joint piece then the armor? Is that how it's done? All the pieces I bought and not a single ball joint piece came with it. So now I have alot of torso, legs, feet, hands, armor pieces, weapons, and no way to connect them together.

Ay Ben, do you have any advice on how to cheaply and easily get good lighting when taking pictures of a mock?

You'd be amazed by the lighting already around your house if you don't mind the background

I have a guide for photographing MOCs, it's this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKvJamh3g55pg5Y I use natural sunlight in the guide, which works really well (And is free, so it's the cheapest possible lighting ever) Otherwise you can do fine with any lamp that can be lit overheard of the MOC, and ideally a lamp that has cooler light, warmer light can look a bit rough when photographing MOCs.
