PatZalatoris It is consistent to his character. That is his weakness, he is really smart but doesn't take action to gather as much information as possible. That's why he could never beat L and needed Melo just to catch Kira. Plus it is said that he has true grudge towards Kira, more than L's in fact. But for this one, he has just his interest on A-kira not hatred.

And if physical contact is required, then by knowing the rule he could have used a Debit card. The king doesn't care, he didn't intend for care if Minoru died. Minoru told Ryuk to NEVER come near him again for any reason on his pride as a Shinigami. Ryuk even comments on how Minoru doesn't know about the new rule and he was going to tell him until he remembered his promise. The King is a dick true, but he did play fair.

I like how in the one-shot, yes it references how near impossible it would be to pull of what kira did now days- but even then Minoru notes that kira/light would most likely adapt to that world and come up with a way. The one shot made even another effort to make clear how important it is to keep a word to each other.Ryuk even thought about this inconvinience after the deal was made but he still refused to talk to minoru because of his promise to not pop up arround him ever again. He is neither good nor evil he just values his principles if they may be malicious or cause good/bad outcomes doesnt mean anything to him so long he is entertained. Yes the ending was a bit cheap but the one shot never tried to establish another kira . Minoru literally saved his countrys economy even so he died . The author just took some jabs and wanted to entertain himself as much as most likely ryuk did.just sad because minoru was pretty based.

To be fair, Light planned ahead for everything whereas Minoru was a little bit lazier. As Ryuk himself pointed out, the biggest mistake Minoru made was telling ryuk to NEVER contact him again, thus making it impossible for Ryuk to warn him not to touch the money. Just like in real life where you get fucked over by unforeseen circumstances. Also, it's worth noting that technically Minoru "beat" Near, in that he was never caught. This is an achievement even Light can't brag (when he meets minoru and spends eternity with him in Mu, lol), so honestly Minoru is pretty badass still. Have you ever read the "Los Angeles BB murder cases"? Great death note novel which has a (kind of) similar plot involving a murderer who simply wants to stump L at any cost .

My girlfriend put Red Delicious apples in the cart at the grocery and I seriously questioned the relationship Honey Crisp or Pizazz are my favorite. Also if you peel the skin on a Jazz apple (because the skin is so thick) that's an apple with a lot of structure and flavor! Thanks for asking
