I frankly agree with you. While the song primarily supposed to be the scene where L introduces himself to Light, the AMV uses it as a tribute to the intricate game seen on Death Note. Which is done greatly!

My sister introduced me to Death Note and I just absolutely loved it. I heard it was a musical but I never watched the show until I started watching with her. I love the songs their just absolutely amazing! I think my favorite are Where Is The Justice, Stalemate and Hurricane. They're just absolutely amazing songs!

This is a very nice AMV great work. I just discovered the Death Note musical today, and I am obsessed. I really hope someone manages to upload the show or some of the songs online so fans can either download it or watch it. It would be amazing if we one day got an English production as well.

I just wish and hope we will get to see more, either from the production themselves or someone who went to go see the show and recorded a few songs or the whole thing. The way I see it, Misa's entrance into their game is ultimately the deciding factor, that breaks L and Light out of the cycle of stalemates, so it's fitting she breaks briefly into the song just before the final chorus.
