Without plot armor he would have lost when the female investigator gave her fake name. The rules are you can't make someone do something that's impossible like making her disappear somewhere nobody can find her. That's impossible and she should have dropped right there and then making the story much shorter. As no saying "well it's not that she can't be found it's just hard to find her" which is not what was written either so no Kira nice plot armor there
