Having watched some of Hitler's speeches (not understanding a word of them because I don't speak German), I probably would have started listening to him before he went antisemitic. Even though he was pure evil, he was a smart, handsome, charismatic guy who got everyone's attention. I'm not defending him, but I can see the appeal at first glance. I was forced to go into my theater’s screenings of this twice this past Sunday to check the doors. In the three or so minutes I was there, I watched: -Dinesh talking about how not a surprise it was that Josef Mengele went to South America after the Nazi party fell and did abortions (the phrase “from one type of killing to another” was used verbatim.) -The woman getting beheaded, which was due to her being a journalist who published critical things about Hitler but who wanted to stand up for her beliefs and report the truth (read: irony.) -A remark on how Reagan knew how to handle the threat of liberalism, illustrated with a clip of him ordering the Berlin Wall torn down (read: more irony.)

Well, I'm sticking to my comment that I made in the Hillary's America review (while it was up): the movie with the walking and talking teddy bear was the movie more grounded in reality out of the two that came out 10 days ago. And, I'm gonna take back one thing that I've said. Dinesh D'Souza's rhetoric may sound similar to a Neil Breen movie, but, in spite of how much stock footage Neil uses, he doesn't use footage from his previous movies to make up half of his new one. And at least, Neil might be a weirdo, but he has the decency to assure that his movie are fiction, and he seems to treat then as such.
