That was a very innovative clip. It laid out the problem quite clearly. I just keep wondering (as does everyone else) when will TSHTF. I also wonder just how bad things will get. I personally just bought a 9mm Beretta and am loading up tons of ammo it and for my hunting rifle. Right now I have about a 4 month supply of food and I just completed having a well drilled. I've got plans for gardens for coming years. Many people tell me I'm nuts. Somehow I don't think I am. Thanks for a GREAT video!

bluedonkey: 1 year ago you said this, and you were right. I wanted to raise it to your attention. People are leaving the Euro because of the situation in Greece, and foolishly they head towards the US Dollar. Once the Euro games it checkmate for the dollar. I'm as ready as I'm going to get. I think USD will make it to the end of 2010 or longer but only bc Fed has some tricks up their sleeve in regards to manipulation. Sooner or later market forces will snap us back into reality.

9.25.2010 - who would have thought that countries like Japan and Brazil would intentionally devalue their currencies to preserve their exports? The exporters are scratching and clawing to devalue first. Its a race to the bottom. PM's are extremely bullish. Silver closed at $21.46 and gold at $1297 today

@ovechkin100 What kinda food did you choose? We got some big cans of oatmeal, pasta, olives because I really like olives, mac n cheese boxes, spaghetti sauce just to name a few. They are sealed off air tight in containers and wrapped in plastic to keep any bugs and air out. I'd say we only have abuot a month and a half of food though.

husky Dont worry. The currency market is a zero sum game. The dollar only went up in comparison to other currencies. All currencies drop but some at different rates. This drop in gold is potentially just a trick to be able to lower rates later. There is no hope for the dollar becuase fundamentals have not changed. Its time to scoop up as much gold and silver as possible. Once you have it in your hand it will take a lot to pry it away.

Annoying delivery but this is the truest representation of the current situation I have ever heard. When the dollar collapses it will make the great depresion look like a walk in the park. The only difference will be that all the unemployed that actually do own their homes will still have televisions and a computer in a home that will devalue by 80%.

If you visit a stock site look up the euro and see the climb it's had over the past 3 or 4 years. Then bring up a chart of the big three markets and do a 2 yr or 3 yr chart and see the decline. Then google national debt and check out a chart on that. Put it all together..there ya go.

The euro is about to crash, The dollar will look good for a bit compared to the euro. As the stock market comes down more people will be seeking dollars, just like in the crash last year. that wont last for too long. There is a race to the bottom, no government wants their currency too high when productivity is so low. The only thing that can save you is gold (and silver). Remember currencies dont float, they just fall at different rates.

Gold, silver, oil are down and the USD is up. the trend is your friend? Never in my wildest dreams did I expect my metals investments to be down so much.....I gotta tell you it sucks.....logic would suggest this is a bear market rally if not then I'm toast. It's coming and you better get prepaired. At the present gold bullion and coins are being minted 24/7. I live in Australia and our mint (1 of only 5 in the world that mint new gold to sell to the public) only has a waiting list for new orders. So much is getting minted yet you can't even get your hands on any without waiting. This in itself shows a shit load is being bought by a lot of smart peole preparing themselves.
