The Stan Lee stuff threw me off. Each time it happened it jolted me out of the story and I got lost in thought of why it was in there, it didn't seem to contribute to what was currently being discussed and made me overthink it, especially with what has been going on in his personal life. I inherited my grandfather's comic books that he collected from the late 1930s until 1967. I wasn't into comics as a kid and didn't know he was until after his death. He must have loved them because he kept each one in clear flat bags like envelopes. It appears he started with # 1's of those he liked and then continued to collect the series. I wish I had known so he could have told me about them. I keep them for sentimental reasons but have only glanced through a few of them. This movie was fascinating and I can see how people, such as my grandfather, get hooked on them, to see what happens next. I can appreciate the artwork and talent required to draw and write the stories. I'm probably the only person that hasn't seen any of the Marvel movies - yet. 😁

It’s amazing how much impact Stan Lee has had in my life over the last 30+ years. Since the first Marvel Comic (Hulk) I ever owned when I was 7, which blew my mind, to now, over 30 years later, I’m 37 and have hundreds of Marvel Comics, dozens of graphic novels and omnibuses, as well as all kinds of movies and collectibles. Stan Lee drew me in as an Instant fan with that first Hulk comic I saw when I was just a little boy, and after all these years, I still feel the same sense of amazement with each Marvel Comic I add to my collection!

I feel like MCU Spider-man is actually disrespectful to Stan Lee's vision of the character he made him a teenage hero cause he was sick of all the teenage hero's only being sidekicks then what does the MCU do??
