Just finished listening. Incredible. Without a doubt, this interview was the biggest achievement, for the lack of a better term, by any 'prison channel' KZbinr to date. This is a super high profile interview for a relatively small (which should be massive) KZbin channel. Of the millions of channels on youtube, scoring this interview could not have happened to a better guy. A guy does what he says and uses his platform for good...and for change. I tip my cap, Mr. Marks.

By far Chad got the best hands down prison channel . I don't see any misleading or over hyped up stuff going on . He calls ppl on there bs . Unlike say some 22 year Olds from let's use Florida doing 18 month bids and swear they know shit .or just dope feined his bid away channel and now has stories from mobsters to Bernie Madof and overhyped stories or straight bs like convict inc show. Chad is real I can tell right off the tip .

@@iamahappybordercollie7597 you don't even believe that. If you ever done time and or watched any of his interviews or his content at all. You would know Chad definitely has done some time and definitely has best prison channel show on. He brings guys he's done time with , that you can tell respect him , black and white and inbetween but he also tries to help out local people with getting them off the streets into rehabs and preaches what not to do to end up in prison like most of us watching. I only say that because there are a shit ton of bs shows who over hype there stories or just make them up. Try to scheme using there channels or just all about jokes or they may have done a 18 month-2 year bid and now are the voice of prison or just a straight killers. Here's a tip on the killer tip all the killers are still behind the wall. 😉. Take 23 and 1 cool channel but played the hell out. He pretty much takes ppl being sentenced on court cam from A&E and talks hpw they get there boots smoked . It's played out. The After prison show dude Joe. Acts like a freaking state cop now . Shows up testifies on ppl and flipped a fee houses now thinks he Bob villa not even Mike Holmes a real builder. So I can't mess with a guy who done time but now wants parole reform in his own state but reform to not let anyone out.jidt watch his shit. It's prolly the truest one left on KZbin.

The HBO programme may have not given the full context to what led up to the fight…but the other prisoner who held Blackman down by the legs lied. He stated on the programme that Blackman rushed him and Kell. That wasn’t the truth. From reading the court transcripts all 3 were on the bottom tier (they were housed at the top) and all 3 were supposed to be handcuffed waiting for an escort to the medical unit. Blackman was cuffed with his back to both Kell and his accomplice talking to another inmate through his cell. However Kell and his accomplice broke out of their cuffs using a moulded down plastic object. They then attacked Blackman from behind stabbing him in the back face and eyes..Blackman could only use his legs to defend himself. He was was stabbed over 50 times just in his face and eyes..and another 20 times around the rest of his body. It was a cowardly attack to do it with someone with cuffs on. But that’s prison.

Kill or be killed it's like that in jail most people who have never been to prison especially where Troy has been don't understand that even the smallest shit or beef in prison is not to be taken lightly like Troy said in "Gladiator Days" you can get yourself "fucked off" or killed for thinking something wasn't serious when it was.... he did what he thought he had to do... I believe like you do that he isn't a true racist but rather took that stance in order to survive which many white men are sometimes forced to do to survive in prison it is what it is...

They were in a maximum security prison gtfoh with your one on one bullshit. It's kill or be killed in that environment. The whites are the minority in most US prisons, and with the gang mentality numbers is what matters when it comes to power and control. The only reason whites are respected amongst the other gangs is because of people like troy who use intelligence and ultra violence to level the playing field. Had Troy been given better advise when he was younger or with a good mentor to take him in a better direction he could have been a General or a battle field commander in the US military. His potential was sadly wasted

Troy and I have a lot of similarities and we have a lot of differences. One thing that stuck out was at the end of the day we both had the same message at the end of our interviews. His and my very first words were almost identical. 'Value yourself'. I'm glad he stressed that to the youth, being a lot more well known than I... Reason is, I know from experience, like Troy, that as youth our minds are not developed enough to see how valuable our young lives are. And how the decisions that we make at that age can affect our lives for years and decades to come. Reason being, we don't have the concept of decades since we haven't even existed for decades yet... Good interview though Chad. I'm hoping this is a big stepping stone for you that will expand your channel, and in turn, expand your message. Damn good job bro!

Any word on a second interview? I assume Troy is not allowed to speak with Sandy, but was wondering if she ever tried reaching out. Is there anyway we can help Troy as an average person. Again I think he is very loyal, got F*cked by HBO, in prison you HAVE to go with your own, that doesn't make you racist. Troy was 18, the Fact he has survived behind bars, when he would be a Trophy for any "Colored Gang" says alot about how he built, his intelligence, his ability to adapt, and recognize people and situations for what they are. I respect Troy immensely, I wish he never ran into Lonnie Blackman, but F*ck Cotton Ball Kelly, or Thiede whatever that creeps name was.

I can’t believe you got a full interview with Troy. It was in my opinion raw, real, fair and respectful towards both sides. Only thing I have a critique on is how to help Troy, either by putting funds on his books or maybe sending him some reading material if he is allowed that. Hit me up if your not comfortable putting it out there like that I’ve seen G Days years ago and my heart breaks not only for Sandy and Troy but for Blackman and everyone impacted by the events and situations. Great interview great channel I’m subbed and always leave a like.

I don't believe Troy is ever going to get out of jail too much is going on I wish him well but chances are very very very slim I listen to him talk and I got different views on different things and society really doesn't care what's going on inside of prison they really don't there's nothing people can do to change the fact that they have prisons that run the way they want to run them and that's just as simple as it is my suggestion is you better listen to your parents or you better listen to somebody that's giving you good sound advice so you don't end up in that cage or that man is for 36 years

Chad this put you over the top!!! I really appreciate you and Troy bringing this to light. I've watched the HBO about the case of Troy and I've always said that there is more to this whole story than what HBO presented. I know prison politics will never be understood by people that have never lived it. I honestly think that if Troy had not stood up after the killing of Blackmon and said the racial slurs, we would've never heard of this case. I honestly think also he would've not be in prison this very day. Troy has definitely changed!!! Free Troy. WR always 💯!!!

I had seen Gladiator Days and when I landed on a California yard in 2005 his words helped me through the first weeks. “I told myself that I got myself into this situation, now deal with it”… I had to tell myself that multiple times while inside. It’s just pure luck that I didn’t catch the rest of my life there. Jury should be instructed when dealing with prison homicide on how prison works. That way, they can understand that it’s kill or be killed a lot of the time. Many don’t just decide one day to kill another convict.
