If IGN and co. could keep releasing content like this, where they interview developers and talk about the behind-the-scenes development of various games, games journalism would be in a better place.

Caleb Lawson well they have the main characters rendered, they have decided for the kind of environment they want, they have finalized on the engine. I won't be surprised if they have some prototypes of small gameplay snippets even if it's just 5 minutes. Pre production is still a part of game development

Hey all. He was reportedly working on PT but seeing as that project dissolved and we now have Death Stranding. I am more than quite sure that he will be working on this is some capacity too. For anyone wanting to see any of his awesome works. Try an app called MangaRock and look for Junji Itoei also. Read up on his work "Gyo", it'll make a lot of sense looking at Death Stranding. Enjoy 🖒 As a Game Dev myself I can't wait for more information on this project to be released. Such a truly exciting time indeed.

I'm also assuming Kojimas just pumped to get going on the game, especially now that he's got significantly less funding to spend a few years making another new engine. But, hopefully being in cahoots with Guerrilla they can keep improving the engine. Interesting that they seem to have picked their engine over ND's though. Unless ND didn't want to share.

I think that people claiming that it'll be coming to PC (or otherwise) are speaking too soon. I have no doubt in my mind that Kojima wants to make the game multiplatform, and all of the wording surrounding its announcement made it sound like it would be, but plans change and restrictions eventually become clear.

Galuska Vlad I'm not doubting that Kojima can bring us a good Story! But what about the game. I'm sick of uninteresting "art" games that have more cutscenes than the Lord of the ring series combined. I'm here for an enjoyable game, if I wanted to see a good film I'd go to the cinema and not the game store. These trailers up till now disappoint. Its like watching a movie trailer but just seeing the hand drawn storyboards instead.
