This is what happens when you don’t get a proper education Wesley. You start believing crazy shit.

Sorry to hear about your problem Chris. To me as a fisherman myself for over 70 years its hard to find a good fishing spot and the establishment doesnt care about the fishermen or the hunters of this country. Why cant they leave well enough alone. Hope that you and your friends find a solution.
@UltraMagaFan6 ай бұрын
We literally have tens of millions of acres of federally funded national forest and several state funded lakes and WMAs that you can hunt and fish on across this country. The government has public boat ramps, it does public hunts, draw hunts, it has a tackle loaner programs, it does fishing rodeos, and it has several more opportunities to get adults and children outside. Saying the government doesn’t care about the fisherman and hunters of this country isn’t true. Because without the government I would have never shot my first deer, or my first duck. I also wouldn’t have the opportunity to go in my backyard and catch fish anytime I want to because the lake wouldn’t be there. The government has done some fucked up things, but the programs and resources it has for fisherman and hunters is fucking great. The reason they’re draining this river is because people continue to move into the desert and they need drinking water. Not because they hate fisherman. It’s not that hard to understand.

Hey man, I've been watching you for YEARS now. It's been so long I graduated college and pushing 30. I've had something similar happen to me, my favorite creek got destroyed in efforts to help with flooding, now hardly any water flows but you can still find fish in deep pockets on the bends of the creek. I don't want to bring any negativity in this comment section but I do find it odd that a lot of water is being diverted to the Rio Grande at this moment...super glad the beavers are there to do their job and actually help you out as far as trying to keep the water. Like you said, the people behind desks shouldn't be making decisions about wildlife. Much love from Texas brother

You tube won't allow links pasted to comments so here is all the information of the whole project that began in 2016. type in this exactly on Google and educate yourself before you call someone a liar. a 3 mile stretch of the rio grande has been moved back to it's original river channel inside the BDA boundries and the LFC now enters the Rio Grande at San Marcial instead of 16 miles down river at Silver Canyon , They did build 4 gated culverts that allow water to flow into the "MUDDY RIVER" but the big lagoon has been completely blocked off and drying up quickly. How is it possible to "shut off" a river? I am thinking that this must actually be an irrigation ditch. I looked on Google Maps and found "Muddy River Road", which is near a man-made irrigation ditch called the "Garfield Drain". Is that it? If the farmers served by the irrigation ditch don't have the clout to keep the water running, it's hard to imagine that anyone else could. Sorry to see your fishing spot come to an end like that.

i have recently figured out that most surfaces become lacking of water because someone or everyone retrieving water from underground, this will cause surface water diving down to fill the empty area. this conclusion is heavily depending on that no significantly changes on yearly water drop and season changes, which may cause direct changes on surface water.
