Yes! There are lots of places to fish from the shore at Caballo lake and many bank fishermen catch big cats there!

lots of white bass too! used to fish there often when I lived in El Paso. I'm sure stripers and hybrids as well as I've caught stripers in Elephant Butte off the damn. that was many moons ago tho! moved from EP at 20 and I'm 47. lol
