Totally loving your channel..:-) I don't live in the US but have travelled there fairly extensively (Mid West to the West coast) and now have no ability to ever be back there. Love the way you show all the detail that you wouldn't see in travel brochures, and of course your commentary. Often get a good laugh.. And of course your wonderful little nymphet body..!! Don't see much of it naked these days, but know the reason why. Would love to see some international travel if your channel gets established enough. In the meantime, keep up the good work. I have a terminal illness and get so much joy out of your postings.. From NZ

I deliver propane to Panamint Springs, so I’m out there a couple times a month, one of my favorite stops. So far I’ve met four of the siblings that run the place (there may be more) absolutely awesome people, the place has a great vibe. Panamint Springs is very much off the beaten path, I know first hand that it is very expensive to deliver goods out there.

The lodging looks kind of spartan , but I can testify the pizza served in the restaurant is really pretty good and the beer is cold. Have eaten there twice. Going back to Death Valley this March and renting a tent cabin for 1 night. Also spending 1 night at Stove Wells and 1 night at Furnace Creek Ranch. I love Death Valley. Flying in from Ohio.

Well, rustic since 1950's... but the restaurant and bar are pretty nice. In nice weather... good to sit on the front veranda and watch Panamint Valley... and also hopefully... the jet fighters go by.

I love the wood work under the counter of the cafe. Gorgeous. I'd definitely stay there. $180 is outrageous though but what the hell isn't anymore? It reminds me of the motels my family stayed in when we went through Nevada once a month back in the 60s. Its a cozy nostalgic feeling. So my vote is for "charmingly rustic". Nice find. When I travel, I have my "mini-Winnie" to stay in because of the outrageous prices. Have you ever thought about getting a truck camper or mini RV?
@tomfrye90375 жыл бұрын
I stayed at a Motel 8 in hays, Kansas last weekend and the little kitchen area had toasters and waffle irons and stuff like that place. I've actually stayed in some pretty primitive motels...so i don't think that one is too bad. The price sounds a bit steep, but otherwise, it ain't that bad. Thanks for yet another multi video Wednesday, Lovely Lass(8-).

Going through Expedia, you can get a basic room with one queen bed for $94. Looks like the one you were in. Perhaps rates are reduced after Memorial Day. Note: you can also get a tent with cots for $25
@snowcrash3954 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Wonderhussy, for that honest review. Panamint Springs rents out tents with two cots in them for $35 a night. You need to bring your own sleeping bag and, of course, hoof it to the restrooms when nature calls. The tents are bolted down on a wooden platform so they're probably ok even if it rains, but determined bugs can get into them. I'd recommend bringing your own tent and just getting a campsite, but if you don't want to bring all that gear and put up your own tent, a $35 tent with cots wouldn't be that bad. I sure wouldn't pay for their overpriced rundown rooms, when I could stay in Lone Pine for much less.

May 23, Wedensday, I went thru Shoshone Ca where there is a motel with Large salt cedars. They wanted $175 on a Wedensday so we drove on. At the junction in DV rooms were $250 plus! we did see and record a double rainbow and rain. At Big Pine we got a room for about $100. Margi at "The Merry..." (go round) serves Great Chinese food. No bed bugs there. Bed bugs have to be brought in by someone. Anyone who can afford $180 a night isn't going to be bringing in bed bugs. Now if that room was $30 a night, then I'd search for signs of them before I paid for the room..

Been there couple times. I do dig the rustic of the place overall, the restaurant/bar is neat, but nearly impossible to sit at the bar most of the time, the "breakfast" is fairly lame- I guess it would take to many cooks to prepare breakfast made to order. There is a dinner menu, forget what I had but was decent. Across the street is a camp ground, 20 sites maybe, some w hookups prob. I stayed in one of the tent-provided sites once, it had 2 sturdy cots & they will loan you sleeping bags, bedding I heard if needed. Also, there is a nice restroom/showers in the small campsite, free to use- I've used it even when not staying there...There's a gas station/general store, food, camping items. Hope it keeps the rustic vibe, but some improvements to the rooms and the restaurant menu/options are needed.
