And for War's case it was as if all of creation was against him. With very few allies along the way. Yet he forged on regardless to the the joining of all the horsemen. All in all they're both amazing in their own rights.

I would say War is stronger, but Death is more powerful. It's like comparing Hulk and Thor, Thor wins in 7 or 8/10 fights. But both characters are strong and powerful AF.
