Regardless of who wins the next Death Battle, the F-Zero movie's screwed either way. If Captain Falcon wins, then he just killed the lead actor on live tv. If Johnny wins, then he just killed the guy he's meant to portray on live tv. Side note: If Falcon wins, he'd better finish with a Falcon Nut Punch.

I personally like the idea of Darkwing Duck vs Duck Dodgers of the 24 1/2th Century. I known animations are crazily difficult and probably far from finished.. but what happened here...? Voice-acting and character models are great... but when compaired with Jiraiya Vs Roshi or Cpt Marvel vs Shazam... its a little stiff...

The problem is the availability of sprites and sprite sheets. Mortal Kombat doesn't have as much of an issue as there are many high-quality official and fanmade spritesheets, but with Captain Falcon, most sprite sheets you can find are fan-made and some are quite incomplete. That means that sprites used to keep the actions flowing are often missing, as seen in that running animation... If Death Battle really wanted to focus on fixing the flow, they would need to spend time working on making those between-action sprites instead of working on the animation.

But looking at Guts vs Nightmare again, they made the movements of the two swordsmen look absolutely superb (and I'm quite sure there weren't official Berserk games in 2D style like that) I was hoping they will do something similar.

Ngl, removing the "FIGHT!" announcement was a pretty bad decision. Idk, if you're gonna go out of your way to set up these confrontations, then the announcement works as a great payoff to the tension that's built in the initial interaction. Hell, all of these intros still feel like you're setting the announcement up.

They removed it because the only reason it existed was because it was a fighting game reference. The FIGHT! could set up tension but most of the time it’s used it’s with a slow-mo shot or the characters staring at each other. It’s not tense, it’s unnecessary and limited the script as well since the entire battle would have to incorporate the fight and slapping it somewhere and calling it a day isn’t as easy when the combatants are punching and screaming

Goblin has better gear, more weapons, more durability and he can just glide around. Joker's gas wouldn't work on him (that goes both ways) but a grenade to Joker's face would end the match right there.

Green Goblin easily. He can fly with his glider, has much more devastating weapons, has a healing factor that lets him survive deadly wounds and he can keep up with Spiderman who can dodge bullets and is strong enough to tear humans apart and even kill one in one punch. Joker is an impressive fighter with some deadly gag weapons but he is still human, he can't compete with ANYTHING that Green Goblin has to offer besides insanity.
