Congrats 🎈. Be careful lowering a cocked xbow to the ground. I have had to fix several that got the string cut that way. And heard a story at the shop of one that when the string let go the limb hit the ground and the bow flew up to stand height

Nice hunt. Because of you and your informative videos I switched from Ravin to Excalibur. Picked up a Micro 360. I love it. Sighted it in on Friday and took a nice doe on Sunday. I love that I can set my brace height my self, replace string, add sound deadening without having to take it to a shop. I did upgrade the scope to a Hawke XB-1 not a fan of the dead zone scope it came with. It's 14db less than my Ravin was. The accuracy is spot on. Thank you both for all the fun and helpful videos.

RICH, this is Rev Lary Blodgett. Haven't written for awhile but thought it was important that I share this with you. I remain for Eight Years now with my 10 Point Shadow NXT and now I have added an Oracle X. Now the story started four moths ago when I first got the Oracle X. Paid full price for the scope of a lifetime. But like you and so many I was finding myself in a steadily declining depression. My first afternoon I went through THREE batteries 🔋??? I couldn't believe 😅 what I was doing wrong ! I watched you your thing on the Oracle X and realized maybe I hadn't done anything wrong and maybe just maybe this almost thousand dollar scope was broken. So I got ahold of Oracle and you were right !!!!! They were SUPER FRENDLY, SUPER FAST and they took my scope fixed it and got it back to me with in 5 weeks. I'm now shooting 3 shot bulls eyes at 20 35 60 75 yards. That scope is unbelievable. I was thinking of upgrading this year but now with the Oracle X I'm so very happy with the results,,, WHY ?? I Just turned 73 and all Hail Shadow 😂😂😂😂😂

Well done, happy for y’all. Sadly my season is going pretty bad. I have minimal public land to hunt and sadly it’s seemingly empty of game right now. Food plots have no signs of deer, rabbits, even squirrels. I’ve done morning and evening sits with no deer signs and at this point it’s getting real demoralizing.

@@matthewwichtner2935 Don’t get me wrong I love the outdoors and love being out in the woods, but I’m trying to help feed my family. Even one deer a year saves us a lot of money. As for other spots, Kansas has precious little public land and I don’t have the time or the health to scout them, trail cameras are banned now and I have to stick to what areas I know have had deer, at least in the past.

Loved the intro Bunjie. It was really funny and I sure needed the laughter today. I don’t know Genevieve’s age and if I had to guess I’d say early 20’s? Yet Kix is her favorite band? Great job. And cool pictures. Were you 20 or 30 yds away for the shot? I noticed your doe didn’t drop down at the shot. I shot a doe last weekend and expected her to drop and aimed accordingly a little low, but she didn’t drop before running off. So I shot her a little too low. This caused a looong trail, with her being jumped and eventually having to be found by a dog. It was hot that day so the meat went bad😢. I learned a lesson by watching your video. Thanks Genevieve.

got a buck with a 3" swa-hacker based on your recomendation. i noticed it opened fairly gradual, close side of the heart was 1.5" cut, the far side of heart 2", far side ribs 3". have you seen similar to this?

Yes, I don't think that the entrance wound immediately becomes 3 in but I think it is a progressively larger cut on the way through, and I think that is consistent deer after deer after deer. Sometimes a little sooner and sometimes a little later as you describe. But I will say this, we are undefeated with swahacker broadheads so far knock on wood lol

Shooting the wrong nock is an easy way to ruin the crossbow so you have to be sure. I think you need to contact ten point. It is going to depend on both the crossbow but also the arrow that you choose. That is the safest path. From what little research I've done on the matter over the years, I get answers both ways.

IMO it might be a bit much depending on the crossbow. For some it's right in the mix, for others it unnecessarily reduces speed and creates a greater arc.
