What a great song. Instead of thinking about a romantic relationship I am reminded of family relationships. My dad has been going through some stuff with his siblings this year and it has hit him like never before. He is devastated and in a deep depression right now. He’s not himself anymore. There are so many things I want to say to him but I’ve been holding back fearing that the things I say will hurt him even more. Stumbling across this song has given me the courage to have an honest talk with him. Thank you for giving me the courage to comfort my old traditional dad.

I can definitely relate. Love the lyrics. Rings so true to so many men who don’t know how to or can’t express their feelings when this scenario occurs. The advice they need doesn’t resonate due to the emotional trauma they go through. They get blamed for any and all reasons because there is no accountability on the other persons part. Hopefully this song will help others move on. ❤

😢 this hit home. I always felt like I was never worthy of being loved or being with anyone. I fought so hard for my relationship to work and try everything I could to make us work... but at the end he cheated over and over and after forgiving him over and over I finally couldn't anymore... He still turned it all around on me to make me the bad one... Recently ran into his family and they all gave me ugly looks... What can I say, I'm glad he didn't pick me for his number 1 bc now I'm with my husband and he always makes sure I know I'm his number 1. 🥰 for those that are still waiting, your time will come!
