The sword Deathstroke is holding was forged by that black god dude (the forger) which is used to kill a god yet we see Deathstroke using it on Superman and he took no damage, not even blood. Seriously? Does New 52 Superman just show up out of nowhere and start beating up someone on his side because he charged headfirst into the conflict without a full explanation to the situation? He has done this 3 times at least: first with Batman and Green Lantern in Justice League Origin (though that was more justifiable due to Hal being a colossal prick but him aggressively attacking Batman was really unnecessary), then with Aquaman in the Drowning and now here with Deathstroke even though someone else hit his girlfriend and he should've figured it wasn't Slade considering the Amazons are fighting monsters and not Slade.

No, the writers wanted him to lose the eye and half-assed it.
