i think it’s part of a blitz-style argument meta. overwhelming the other person in conversation could potentially lead them to agreeing with a stance they don’t hold out of confusion or making them look bad when in front of an audience

This whole presup spiel is just embarassing. They recognize that you cant trust your senses, but claim they can, because they have revelation by god.... which would require some sort of sense. If you point that out, they just repeat "you cant know that because in your world view you cant know anything" like 6year olds. Also neglecting that revelation as basis of epistemology is completely absurd since everyone can use this "method" to account for every claim. Just let them be, its playing chess with a pidgeon...

i don’t see how you could conclude that. he quite bluntly answered almost all questions, with the outliers being questions he couldn’t find relevancy in, which is fairly typical of a debate. just because you’re given a debate space, it doesn’t mean the opponent can’t take issue with questions being brought up
