Should people go to college? 5 ideas for, 5 ideas against 1. Yes If you sincerely want to be educated 2. No If you are going there because you don't know where else to go 3. Yes If you need a formal course of study in order to pursue a certain career 4. No If you are simply taking courses 5. Yes If you perceive that your college degree will be your entree ** socially ** into the middle class 6. No If you think that a college degree will do anything more than open the first door of your career. I have met a number of MBA grads who admitted that all spending $50k ++ on their degree did was put a 50 dollar saddle on a 10 dollar horse 7. Yes If you sincerely want to be challenged intellectually, physically, socially, religiously, morally etc etc 8. No If you are looking for a "thafe space" 9. Yes If you see this as a golden opportunity to develop life long friendships , relationships, and experiences to help you grow 10. No If you plan to treat the college experience as grade 13,14,15

.... im hating this episode. James seems out of touch woth how costly modern tuition inpacts young students today. Youth unemployment in those nations are at an all time high. Young people are getting scammed big time by " mandatory college education" requirements I disagree with much of what he said about college education.... but what excellent parting words.... if you get nothing out of this episode- skip right to the end for a profound statement
