Fascinating take at 9:47 looking at the evolution of human behavior around brands/symbols and going a level deeper than the typical narrative we've all endlessly heard about advertising and corporations. "The condition of branding has always reflected the condition of our culture" 🤔 🙏. Great talk! 💯

Swastika is A major Civilizational Hindu Symbol which is actually "OM" symbol drawn in all Four Directions. OM is referenced to name of The Eternal Ubiquitous Power which is known as "Eshwar"(Eshwar is not the same as in other beliefs like 'God' or 'Allah' which is manifested as if "someONE" sitting in sky who will forgive). . Swastika comes from Sanskrit word Swasti meaning source of All Happiness and Prosperity. And source of happiness and solution of all problems in Life comes from Knowledge. And knowledge comes by Discarding Superstitions, myths and pseudo knowledge. . With Knowledge, you won't have any "Dosha", if there is no Dosha, you won't have "Pravritti", if there is no Pravritti, there is no "Dukha" and if there is no Dukha, you'll have "Moksh"(lookup these terms) There is such deep meaning imbibed in that symbol which is 1000's of years old and all it took was a dictator less than 70 years ago to change its meaning and perception.

Fascinating; the problem is that Hinduism is all made-up human philosophy. Just as the caste system was made up and became an albatross to millions of people. The good thing about Christianity is that it claims to be based on a historical fact - the Resurrection. So it can be proved or disproved.
@deepashasharma9264

@@annefranciselizabeth3840 Well, funny thing but whatever facts that have been written in the Hindu scriptures (thousands of years ago I might add) such as scientific facts are being proved by scientists from Britain, America etc were declared by those very 'made up human philosophy '. As for the caste system it had nothing to do with separating people, at the beginning it was a way of expressing from where god created different jobs that people CHOSE according to their interests. But sadly people changed the rules for their own benefit. We might not be perfect but neither are you. For more information visit: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rp2ldnirjq6Krbs Anne it was a pleasure chatting with you.

@@deepashasharma9264 There is a reason MODERN science originated from "Britain, America etc" (essentially Christiendom). There is also a reason MODERN democracy and HUMAN RIGHTS have a Christian foundation. There is a reason we agree that we are now in 2020 (Anno Domini). There is a reason we are having this communication in English. There is a reason it took contact with the Christiendom for India to overcome its initertia and finally abolish not only the caste system but the 500 odd potentates who were essentially enemies of progress. At the core of the reason for all the above (and much more) is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are not perfect, but He is.
@deepashasharma9264
@deepashasharma9264 4 жыл бұрын
@@annefranciselizabeth3840 Maybe the reason we are having this conversation in English is becasue of the British Raj (Rule), where did the Holy Christian beliefs go then? (I'm genuinely curious) Whether science is "MODERN" or not Hindu scriptures had already declared what "MODERN science" is saying today. This so-called "MODERN science" has said that the 'Gayatri Mantra' is a very positive mantra and each word has a specific wave length which has a positive affect on the brain. If you don't believe me then check out this video where a lady who had studied in the UK explains why the Gayatri mantra is beneficial in "MODERN science" terms: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoOWhJqCotyshtU. Even in medical fields 'newly founded' medication was already invented by the Hindus the shape and form may have changed but essentially the actual idea is from the Hindus. For example, turmeric powder is now just coming in the form of compressed tablets in a bottle saying "well being benefits" on the bottle when we just mixed the powder in milk and drank it. Hindu scriptures have talked about 'Karma' which the Western world is believing today. Ooh what about the time when Christians assaulted the Jews, threatening them to change their religion or die? There is nothing wrong with being Christian (or following any religion for that matter) Just don't assault other's beliefs and we're good. If you would like to know more about Hinduism the please read the Gita which is also translated into English. Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)

@@hanwenhengliu3776 Have you bothered to read the life of the Greek "gods"? No system of humane ethics can be based on Greek RELIGION. The Greeks were described in Acts 17 as "seeking the unknown God". Sometimes they got it right (and Christian evangelists including St Paul incorporated their teachings); when they got it wrong Christian ethics CORRECTED them. The ancient Greeks eventually embraced Christianity as a nation . Good for them. You should do the same.

An interesting and valuable talk, if a little bit hard to listen (too much emphasis literally in every sentence). However, I'm afraid as majority of American-born speakers, this speaker again uses "universally recognized" instead of "recognized in the US and Europe". Unfortunately, the majority of the world population has never heard of the hat at all.

The moment......that _anyone_ uses the word "sheep" and/or "sheeple" is the moment I immediately consider that person an idiot. Um, I'm going to go ahead & be content with admitting we don't know everything & understand that the only way we can put the pieces together & solve the puzzle is through rigorous application of logic, reason & critical thinking skills.
