You had me crying and (sorry) laughing. I'm grateful for your retelling. I know it will help someone out there going through similar situations. But how you just take charge and dont let the tour guide steal your vacation is strength with in. I live to see strength with in come out!❤

Debi, I know that making and editing videos is not your favorite thing to do but watching your videos are the favorites of many! I have told so many people about your channel and they all LOVE how you tell a story and play music intertwined with whatever piece you are working on. You have a gift for this. Nobody else I follow had been able to pull it off. There is not one person who would start watching one of your videos and not stay with it until the end. And only you have this ability to hold someone’s interest with no boring parts! Please put them up as often as you can. They are so unbelievably good!!

The dresser is beautiful - though the white one you sold was my favorite!! That was the trip from hell. I'm glad Zeb was there because he seems like nothing ruffles him. I've not been lucky enough to go on many vacations but many years ago (20+) my late husband's work sent him to Atlanta for training and paid for me to go too. We live in California and our flight to SF got delayed because of rain and were rerouted to LAX which caused us to miss our connection to Atlanta. So by the time we got there it was midnight and everything was closed. The car rental shops were closed and our luggage was lost or delayed. Luckily, his boss was already there and he had to come and pick us up. We get to the hotel and they had given our room away!! So they took us to another hotel across the way for one night and then we were going to go back to the original hotel the next day. That is I was supposed to do all of it. I don't think we went to bed until 3 or 4 am. Hubs had to be at class early. So he went and got a rental car and dropped it off for me. I think I went back to sleep. When I got up I was so disoriented. I called to the front desk to pick up our luggage. When I opened the door for him I realized we were on the first floor - that's how out of it I was!! Once checked out I had to find the car. I didn't know the make or anything about the car - I'm sure he told me but - I think I was jet lagged our something. Anyway - I finally found it and made my way over to the first hotel and got us all settled in. This was before we had cell phones. I managed to do some sight-seeing by myself while he was in training and managed to make it back to the hotel without GPS!! The rest of the trip was fun but getting there was a doozy!!

UGH....Deb I love love love your talent & creative ideas but watching these videos with all the things that went wrong really puts a damper on my enjoyment of your delightful imagination. Unexpected surprises (good or bad) is all part of the travel adventure, you just have to go with it and make the best of a crappy situation. As a watcher of your videos, I'd appreciate less of the "woe is me" aspect & more of what went great, what gave you inspiration. There are always kinks in even the best laid plans but I can sit & reflect on my own life for that, I come to your channel to be uplifted & inspired. Please consider lifting up your viewers instead of bringing us down. With love.

Knowing what you know now having been through such an awful situation I’m sure you gained a good bit of knowledge on the do’s and do not’s when planning and taking a trip to France... P.S. Your videos always warm my heart while making me laugh knowing I'm not alone in my uniqueness. I have been blessed to have gone on several trips outside the U.S. with a REAL tour guide. I can see SO MANY ways your "guide" failed your group. Its really despicable what she is doing to SCAM unsuspecting tourists. Debi, I loooove the dresser! You’ve done it again. Creative genius just flows from your fingers. You my dear are so strong for standing up for yourself, sister and friends to that woman. I know you felt responsible for all that mess. Please know it wasn’t your fault. You were duped. My husband and I took a cruise to Cuba and had a very bad experience with a handsome cab driver. Needless to say he charged us much more than he quoted at the end of the ride. Confusion anger and a that feeling of being had was evident. I did not want to get back off the ship the next day. But my husband did so we strolled and shopped instead. Lesson learned the hard way. Thank God you had Zeb along!! I am like Jami I too only cry once a year. I feel that situation you all were in warranted it. Poor things. You all made the best of it and the memories of a lifetime. That’s the stuff you remember more than if it had went as planned. Just found your channel. I am soooo inspired. Can’t locate part 1 of your trip to Paris. I’m going to keep looking and of course I subscribed!

The dresser is amazing. I have a large armoire that I haven't done yet. That I have often thought of taking a tree trunk up the side and having it drape down but wasn't quite sure how I was going to do it I wanted the tree trunk is raised and then thought about hand painting the leaves and stuff in on it. Thanks for posting Love the ideas now I just got to get to it.

I loved the story. We did have a vacation in Sedona at an airb&b that was not fun. The home looked great in the outside photos on line, like a big 3 story home, but in reality the outside was all false and inside was a 2 story small A frame cabin. Most of the time is was cold and the thermostat did nothing because the heat was not connected to our unit, but to a bottom floor storage which was not part of our rental. There were no extra blankets in our rooms and I had to sleep in my sweatshirt with the hood up. I had brought a small down throw with me and I also used the throw off the sofa. The last few days of our vac it was hot and there were only window AC in the upstairs bedrooms and no AC at all in the downstairs. I ended up getting very sick for a month after this trip. This sound like nothing compared to your trip. We use to go to Sedona every year, but this kind of ended it for us. I didn't leave a negative review of this place, I left no review at all.

As soon as I saw these molds, my mind immediately saw a dresser using them! Great minds think alike, huh?! Your dresser is just beautiful!
