Is there a reason why you don't replace your treble hooks with inline hooks. Much easier to unhook the fish much safer for the fisherman. I don't see any difference in hook up ratio. I am never going back to treble hooks.

I've considered the stunna, but the provoke is cheaper and both suspends and floats depending on the temp. Maybe I'll get one if I lose a few others or they get snagged.

Debo you are so right. You never know when circumstances may arise when you cannot fish any more. I'm 68 years old I've had 5 herniated discs, One hip replacement, and Stage 4 cancer twice. All within 7 years. I'm 1/4 as strong as I used to be. I can barely get my boat launched and more days than not I get smoked. I'm lucky to have these few chances to go. I used to go 3 to 4 times a week, no worries with boat, and always caught a nice sized fish at some point during the day.. enjoy it while you can because when you CAN'T do it anymore you wont be resentful.

Hey Debo. Love the videos. I'm glad you don't take for granted being able to fish or time with your dad and friends. I use to fish all the time. At 40 I became disabled from some old injuries and new diseases in my back. I had stopped fishing a number of years before that due to pain while fishing. I use to fly fish. A number of years ago I thought of trying to fish again. I knew I couldn't fly fish anymore. But I didn't want to spend the money on a license and then not be able to use it. But last year I said screw it, I'm getting it. I fished a lot. I can only walk a limited distance so I use a power chair. I stand to fish moving baits. But sit in my chair for worms and ned rigs and such. I hate fishing sitting down but you gotta do what you gotta do. I was able to go fishing with my son for the first time in 18 years. Last time he was 4. He's 22 now. I The day we went I broke my PB LMB. Previously it was only 2 pounds. Caught a 3lb 2oz. It was so cool to do it with my son. But 5 days later I caught a new PB 4lb 4oz 22 inches. You never know when you might not be able to fish again or be limited on how and where you can.

Went out bank fishing for a little over an hour yesterday and went 3 for 5 on largemouth. Hooked them all on a 30 year old Mann's Bait Company rattle bait, The Manniac. Nothing on a jerkbait, but I ended up going for a swim while trying to get my lure back from a snag! I actually hooked an umbrella that was lying on the bottom and opened up! I thought I had hooked a monster! Luckily, it was an unseasonably warm day!

Man I had a 15 day spen without a single bass…only crappie and pickerel were eating. Finally broke out the jerkbait and started catching bass again. Been slow, but there’s no doubt the jerkbait got their attention. Our lake was flooded after Ian came up here and the dropped the lakes. When they finally filled back up, the water was like 20 degrees colder, so I know that had a huge impact on them. Anyway getting a new jerkbait rod any hour now…just waiting for fed-ex to show up. Megabass jerkbait special here we come
