Robert Ladiges, my 7.3 is black & I can’t tell if it leaks or not, except for a puddle under the truck, as of now it’s clean but I’ll see how it goes down the road. I can’t believe I haven’t had very many oil leaks at all. What’s great is if it’s rainy outside & I park at the store if it leaks fuel you see the rainbow color of the fuel on the tarmac then you know she’s got a leak. Diesels are the best when they’ve got no DEF, straight piped, & when they’ve been taken care of.

Having no where for the pressure to go if there's too much pressure in a common rail system will overpressurize the system which is prevelant on the earlier Bosch common rail lb7/lly/5.9. Stick with a stock or modified relief

Nathan Brame with any modern engine you need a swap harness he could have made it himself he has the skills but choose to have one made. No different than an LS swap and he also made the choice to make his own custom intake that is not how most people would do a twin kit but he thinks outside the box.

Definitely go with the D G grill alteration Rich, it’s small details like this that set your builds apart from everyone else’s and help get you a wider audience and clientele as a result. That is exactly the kind of enginuity that always has me hooked and coming back time and time again. I’m currently doing a little bit of engineering that is along similar lines, I’ve got Porsche tubular exhaust manifolds which I’m adapting to fit Ford Cosworth V6 cylinder heads and 2 sets of Triumph speed triple motorcycle throttle bodies which I’m using the runners from the original Cosworth intake manifold to make adapters to fit the 6 throttle bodies to my engine. I will also need some plenum chambers to bolt on top of the throttle bodies. All of this will have my pair of GT3582r turbochargers blowing into it so hopefully I’ll make a little power once we’re done. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring people to try something different. 👍🏻

9:45 that is the high pressure relief valve. Not regulator btw. I had a lb7 apart the other day for low rail pressure. Replaced the relief valve and it's a new animal. Tried shimming the first one but it still lost pressure. I was going to get a race plug. But I didn't like the idea of having no where for the pressure to release in a overfuel condition.
