I build custom trucks and old 40's and 50's stuff, a little trick for seam sealer, if you want it to look nice run a line of painters tape on either side of the weld before you run your bead of seam sealer and you can smooth it out and kinda press it into and nooks and pinholes. Let it dry just a bit and pull the tape and you have really clean, crisp, uniform lines. It's one of those things you don't have to do in most cases but anyone who actually does notice will mention it and it just adds that little extra thought that goes into a custom rig that people are going to be looking at and being humans, looking for flaws.

I had that same t case on one of my trucks. The pump wears through the case and drains your oil. That happened to me. I had a large skid steer on a gooseneck and I got stuck in the snow so I put her in 4 low and let her eat. It smoked that case. But 4 wheel still worked flawlessly. Just had the chain jump a tooth every now and again. When I rebuilt it it was pure carnage on the Inside. Despite that it never actually quit working. I was at 400 horse when that all happened. Just a healthy tow tune.

LOL..."Use my CAD drawing". CAD work is my business...and cardboard is still the go-to method for a lot of this kind of work. You might want to throw that fuzzy edged cardboard in the mill and clean up those datums. Cheers from Guelph.

I love this build so much. For years I’ve wanted to do a square body Chevy/ Cummins mash up similar to this. Hopefully someday I’ll be able to make it happen

It’s incredible how many times I laugh watching this. The humor and full on delirium he is enduring is only funny to me because I’ve been there. Thank you!!!

i think that sometimes Rich's jokes sometimes fly over people's heads because most of us see him as a master mechanic, a man who has far excelled in his profession and has 25 years of experience with many a type of project, that anything and everything he says we just take as *the* concrete and absolute way to do something. so when he says "just replace that Milwaukee battery every 2 or 3 months and we'll be good to go lol", i wouldn't put it past people going, "really? well it's coming from him so i guess you can do that". love the vids, keep it up Rich!!

Definitely always a pleasure to see some more progress on these progress Rich. Nitrous Express actually makes a battery holder/ socket now for using the Milwaukee batteries for auxillary power sourced items. PFI Speed actually has one and they're using it in one of they're AWD build boosted crx's. I believe it's being utilized to run the standalone but really the options are limitless. Long story short, sticking the Milwaukee batteries in where you can use them to test or power accessories easily is pretty damn smart IMO. They have such great capacity why not?!?!?! Dominion makes a great sealer. Used it MANY of times. It's a plus for you since it's made in Canada 😏
