I didn't think that I'd watch an entire hour of a house renovation, having watched several renovations videos lately. But damn, this hooked me immediately. The filming, the editing, the commentary, the right ammount of footage to not make it tedious to watch. And the house ended up looking beautiful, with every detail. As an architect, I truly loved it. Congratulations and now it's time to enjoy it. Greetings from Argentina.

Hugely impressive undertaking! One suggestion regarding your dinning table; if you had a low, Asian style table with legless chairs it would open the interior space, and really take advantage of the view out that massive window/door. Imagine sitting at floor level over a candle lit dinner, gazing out and up at that mountain overarched by a beautiful evening sky.

After seeing the fab and final walk through video, I decided to explore your work some more. Found this one. Wow. How big was this task?! Great film and video production too. Amazing achievement. Very impressed and am inspired to not be afraid to take on, what I perceive as complicated projects. Again, congratulations, you two. 😊

I’ve watched all the individual episodes and this synopsis is awesome! You’re very talented. You could easily be a general contractor, hiring subs to do the actual work while you plan all the details and keep on plan. The place came out fantastic! The balcony and the view is undoubtedly your favorite bit. ❤️

I've remodeled two homes by myself...but Nothing I did came close to what you did...I totally rewired one and put in a media room, laundry room and bathroom...but nothing was like what you just did. OUTSTANDING!

'.... usual life lessons that consistent work pays off, that big tasks are pretty easy if you just work hard every day and that things are not actually as complicated as they seem once you get stuck into them... also that my friends and neighbours are pretty awesome...' Very impressed with all the skills you acquired during the renovation and enjoyed watching your journey through the video. If your main work ends, at least you will never go hungry with the skills you gained from this build. Just hoping that you removed all the slags from from all the welds you laid down with the stick / arc ( slag being the black crust on the weld as it cools ) as condensation can collect between the weld and slag causing it to rust over time. Only have one hair to split; Cement is a bonding component that's mixed with sand to create Mortar. Mortar bonds stone, bricks or blocks to build a wall or render and can be used as a floor screed. Cement mixed with aggregate makes concrete. Sorry but that was something that gets drummed into students at building colleges as cement wont work on its own without sand or aggregate. One thing that I didn't know about and am interested in finding out more, was the damp air extraction circulating system you installed. And I was very pleased to see you used the original roof tiles to finish the roof off, proper nice!

I have watched a lot of renovation videos and trust me, only a handful of them finished project looked as attractive as yours. I love your decor, it's beautiful. I'm happy you didn't choose those really ugly tiles or floorings and your lighting and paint are spot on. Really compliments each other. ❤❤
