@@Gidjoiner yeah but you can still use your tools the way it is. My table saw is rolled in to a corner, mitre saw has to get moved after I use it. I had to rip up some wood the other day and I ended up doing it with a circular saw, as it was too much bother to get at the table saw

Love the fact that you still have a supply of the little Screwfix pencils! Haven't seen any of those since the start of the pandemic......

😂 Screwfix stopped putting pencils out here too but when they do they don't put many out because people were filling their pockets 😂🏃♂️ These are Half pencils from Amazon 👍 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B096VY3W5G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Loved your number plate overlay, thought the exact same thing when I saw the snow, sure glad it wasn’t me having to deal with it, nice to see your biscuit jointer clogs up like mine, been working with some hoop pine that clogs my Makita biscuit jointer up every time, things coming on nicely looking forward to part 3 👌👌👌👍👍👍🇦🇺

Thanks, i'll have the rest uploaded in a little while, i thought 2hrs was enough for the moment 😁 yeah luckily nowadays it's gone in a day or two but i live at the top of a hill on a fairly quite rd so when it does snow i'm house bound, good excuse to do f*all sometimes though 😂 n yeah some wood cuts all stringy n clogs the nozzle, hopefully i've fixed that, hopefully....

Hey mate good to see you back posting again. Hope you've been well and doing ok, i guess you have as see you have a few new toys😂. Am only on part one looking forward to chilling out watching the rest after finishing a big job over the last month myself 😊

Hi, yeah i'm ok thanks, bit fat n old, i had covid in Nov which slowed me down a bit n knackered my voice, then winter came but i've been working, just not filming much as i had to concentrate on getting jobs done & paying bills, I've wanted to go total cordless for ages but some things i didn't want in Bosch, i wanted Makita, so since replacing he track saw for cordless I've been on the Makita battery slippery slope 🤸♂️ slowly replacing tools, you just haven't seen them because i haven't been filming, some tools like the narrow crown stapler i had to get a Milwaukee & i'm not impressed with this Makita 18g, it's ok on softwood but is just lacking the final bit of power to drive the nails right in on this Beech, , spoiler alert that issue is sort of fixed with a new tool paid for by this job 😂 might make a brief update vid about that, 👍 Yeah put your feet up, you've got to have a bit of time to yourself, keep well 👍

@@Gidjoiner Good to hear you're well. Yes i am on Makita brushless on most of mine. Still one the paslode but they bloody expensive on gas and dont fire sometimes, also have the dewalt flex volt mini compressor , can carry it with one hand and great with a cheap clarke gun on it for bigger stuff and small one for brads and staples . Great for cleaning off work too with air gun on it all quick release so easy . I have a friend who get me amazing deals on dewalt hence I could not resist have =just got the flex volt cut off saw for concrete fence posts and gravel boards flys through them and a 1/4 of the weight of a petrol one. Trouble is end up spending profits on these toys rather than in savings 😂😂😂😂 Yes time to relax a few days then start another big job . Stay well i Look forward to seeing all the videos

Your duct tape trick should work! Same thing when using a battery drill and trying to see what you're doing...normally ends up with a direct blast of air straight into the eyeball

Hi Gid nice to see you back! Hope you're keeping well and getting plenty of work in! Which timber yard you using in leeds area that allows you to pick through the stack? And are tney stocking a decent amount of different hardwoods? Been struggling to find anyone with a decent selection of quality materials plenty of tat about but not much straight PAR stuff. Thank you in advance.
@Gidjoiner2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jon 👍 Yep bit old n fat from the last couple of lazy covid yrs but yeah i'm ok & plenty of work for mths, prob is keeping people happy who are waiting 🙉😂, The Hardwood comes from Lavers, Pontefract Rd, they normally have a good pack of the most regular timbers, Ash, Oak, Beech, Sepele, Tulip etc. Their board section is a bit low, i use them for Medite MR MDF but i use Lawcris for Ply, 👍 keep well yourself 👍

I'd have thought you could get pretty much any timber you wanted?,
@paulbowes55862 жыл бұрын
@@Gidjoiner Not really, and while there are some regional differences and availability here in Tampa Bay, Beech is not one I come across. You can get the staples such as maple, white oak, cherry, poplar, walnut and any number of exotic's, and now and then ash.

Yeah, i saw it when editing but don't notice while working, i did notice after because i had to blow the crap out of the holes, some prick at Dewalt thought it was a good idea to restrict the port by putting a metal piece in the middle of it 🤦♂️🙃 I keep meaning to try file off , I've put a pic on FB for you facebook.com/photo/?fbid=5165350433551281&set=a.153123471440694
