CONGRATULATIONS both of you. Take a deep breath and remember this moment. I had my daughter take a picture of my husband and I holding up a sign with the date(Valentine's Day so I would remember LOL) a couple years ago. Unfortunately my husband's car died last fall and I had medical issues this year, but I did it once & plan on having car by end of year & being debt free from medical shortly after. You will build those funds back up again because you did it before and you know how to do it now. I'm sure you feel a great sense of relief now. ❤🎉🍾

Congrats!!! I'm striving to be debt free by the end of 2024. Most of my debt is stupid things. I'm learning to be frugal. Even as an E6 sailor pay I was less than frugal. Now, no cash ends up for a month of zero spending. I'm loving the fact that I can afford giving my husband spending money for the week. Thanks to budgeted like yourself, my life has changed and I am starting to feel less pressure and can relax. After triple bypass surgery, relax is a key word for me. Thank you so much for the lesson!

Congrats🎉. I did the same in Feb of 2023. When the pandemic started i had a very large student debt in student loan debt. By feb 2023 16:19 , i had a huge savings and sinking funds account. I was down to owing just a more managable amount but still large in debt and just took everything I had and paid it off. Felt great but took awhile for it to sink in. Then i had the fun of rebuilding my savings. I have been debt free since.

It’s hard to do the right thing when it comes to paying off that dent. Most won’t do it and they will never know what it’s like to truly be free. I am so happy for you- you did it! 💛💛💛
