Hmm it could hv been better .. I thought he could hv touched upon Hybrid funds .. for those who need a mix of debt n equity or even ultra short duration funds .. investing in RBI’s T bills / Gsec is also a good option 😊

Debt Fund is complicated I prefer Balance Advantage Fund and Hybrid Fund.

Choose Short Term Income Fund in place of FD. So simple ! ICICI Prudential Short Term Fund is a good option.

Debt funds do not make any sense. Fd and ppf are best debt instruments. Equity funds are for wealth creation.

When you say "Interest rate", is it fixed deposit interest rate or something else ?

It is not just the returns that matters the first and foremost thing for any investor is to minimize risk. So adding a debt fund in your portfolio will minimize risk
