I tried the keto diet for about a week. I removed all the sugar containing foods that I know from my diet, but after about 4 days only, I became too weak that I felt like I wasn't eating at all. Either my body doesn't have that much fat stored like I thought or something was wrong. I am not fat, but every time I looked at the mirror it appeared like my belly was beginning to protrude. I didn't like it

It takes sometime for the body to adjust and it can be quite unpleasant. Also as you remove the sugar be keen to add some healthy natural fats.

That could be the keto flu! It's pretty common in the first week as your body adjusts to using fat for fuel. Feeling weak is a telltale sign. Fat Burning vs. Muscle Loss: Our bodies are sneaky. Sometimes when we lose weight quickly, we might lose some muscle alongside fat. Muscle loss can make you feel weaker and affect how your body looks in the mirror, even if the fat is burning. Here are some tips for a smoother keto ride next time (if you decide to give it another shot): Ease into it: Slowly reduce carbs over a few weeks instead of going cold turkey. Hydrate: Water loss is common with keto, and that weakness could be dehydration in disguise. Electrolytes are your friend: Replenish them with broth, supplements, or low-carb electrolyte drinks. They help your muscles and nerves function properly. Focus on whole foods: Think fatty fish, avocados, nuts, and leafy greens. They'll keep you energized and provide essential nutrients. Listen to your body: If you feel awful, don't be afraid to adjust or take a break. Mrenda is like okra leaves for people living outside Kenya. It's slimy and can be mixed with other vegetables like pumpkin leaves or cow peas leaves. A very healthy vegetable especially for women 😊.
