Ghosts seem to be every where in Singapore. In my primary school, the girls toilet was said to be haunted. In my NS days, SAFTI has its fair share of ghost stories. Working in the port, there was a warehouse that was haunted. There are times when I am alone, and its eerie, and the I feel shivers down my spine, I just hold my ground. Nothing happen, I see nothing, and I survive. I have heard many stories of ghost happenings, but have never experience or witness any myself.

Didn't know its now fenced off. I rmb when me and my cousins went in to check out the hospital at night when it was still not gated in the early 2000s. It was indeed one of the scariest experience of my life. My late grandpa was admitted to the hospital in 1996, and to see some of those places I visited but in dark, abandon ruin was an experience I'll never forget.

Quite a few years back. me and my cycling buddy were taking a break right at the Devil's Bend at maybe 11pm+ during a ride. Then we start to hear grunting noises around us and it got louder as the minutes pass till it was quite loud and seems to be all around us in the surrounding forest but we did not notice any movement though. In the end, we concluded it could be wild boars and decided to move on before any of them decided to charge at us.

I dont believe in ghosts but the 70s when I lived in Spore, me and the missis were walking along changi beach and we found what we thought was a old cooking pot, so we took it home and put a plant in it and hung it up next to our front window. After a bit of time out dog started to look at the pot and howling like he had never done before, we told him to stop but he still kept on doing it. So after talking about it with friends, we found out that the pot was actually a old Indian Cremation Urn, that some family had let float off from changi beach. My missis said better to take it down and put it in the dustbin, so I did and the dog howling stopped.

I wonder if this old Changi hospital could be revamp into a hotel. With the "haunted" stories/history, it could become a new place of attraction. In US, there are hotels which are haunted, people love to visit and stay overnight to experience the "haunted" feelings. Just like the clown hotel and Queen Mary ship etc.

Spent around maybe around an hour right outside the Matilda House once during the early 90's when doing my NS. Did not have the internet back then so did not have any idea what was it. Actually I was quite surprise to see an old white colonial house with a quite neatly kept compound but surrounded by woods beyond that. The house then already look vacant with all the windows boarded up. We did waited respectfully for our other team members to gather then left the place.

Not really true about Changi Hospital though. More than 20 years ago during my school days, we knew about it already and tried to enter before. I won't be surprised its known even earlier. But having said that, many areas in Singapore are notorious to be haunted. Tiong Bahru, Orchard. Bishan MRT etc etc. And almost all army camps will have their own stories too. Its really to individual to believe

Love such videos and content. I am not sure if I am right, but I guess there are really some things which we as humans still do not understand. I was admitted to OCH during my NS and it was already quite spooky at that time during the late 90s. After the hospital closed down in 1997, my friends and I went down to explore the place in the dead of night. There were a few other people who were also there to seek excitement. My friends and I were walking along one of the corridors, exploring each and every room/ward. We were holding torchlight. I tell you, the atmosphere was terribly eerie. I was 1st to enter one of the rooms/wards. The moment I put one foot in, I can feel very clearly the hair on the back of my neck stand and goosebumps all over my body. It felt like a mild electric shock. My gut feeling instantly told me I shouldn't carry on any further and I can feel that I was, or rather my friends and I were not welcome. I immediately told my friends to leave. My friends did not ask me for a reason and just complied. That was one of the most scary experiences of my life.

During my BMT at Tekong, I once had a high fever and was sent to old Changi Hospital to recuperate (the army wing) for a few days and another time several years later after I had ROD, I had a minor operation and was again warded there. No there was never any story I ever heard about it being haunted nor personally had any experience. If there were, the Army boys in those days would certainly not had let it slide.

been there since i was 13 which was 20 years ago, way way before the movie was out. The place is scary because its a hospital, and deserted hence very quiet. Lots of vandalism and ppl taking drugs in there. Furthermore, it doesn't help that the security guard is always burning incense and paper(chinese tradition) and the smoky smell might spook people out. But again, its a nice place especially if u manage to walk through and climb up the roof. Its a very nice sea-view unblocked by anything. Friends and I usually will bring tidbits to go up the ceiling to stay over night there.

You try to venture at night (be warned) to ECP/Tanah Merah Coastal Road location, sengkang pcn right after the sports complex, bukit timah rifle range nature reserve park (enter from railway mall). In the Marina Barrage control building, the staff will know about it.
