I used to believe in this myth that say "do not trade in Friday's" and I have missed so many opportunities because of this myth in the last few weeks, thank you Mark. Can you please one day do a video of trading goals, because I think most of us beginners and intermediate traders when we set our trading goals we set our goals based on how much we want to make, which is really not good mindset that every beginner trader or intermediate should have, and this mindset has killed so many trading careers, so please Mark can you think about it and help us, I know Um not alone who is struggling with setting their trading goals

1. Monday and Friday are bad trading days 2. Don't trade when there are news releases. These two myths have had a negative impact on my trading journey. When ever I see a setup and there are news due I would have a moment of paralysis. After some time I would realize that the trade played out as per my analysis and yes congratulations to me I've just made 0$. Mondays and Fridays where kinda like day offs. Because of the myths that had been drilled into my head. Thanks a lot Mark for the value, finding this channel has helped me a lot, technically and psychologically

everything you mentioned i agree a 100% yet the issue here is being whipsawed when you in profits or when you just entered maybe a few minutes before a news event but you quite right i have backtested a few events even tried to see why are we so paralyzed to to trade Mondays and fridays but i think the issue here is also because we tend to overtrade so i dont think its about limiting your trading potential but its always about using those days to recuperate like for me fridays are very reflective if i have not spotted a clear trade id rather sit it out do some ASR replenish the mind and just relax a bit then sat backtest but i think you have added to my curiosity because i think we just trust too much of these myths instead of relying on our own data gathered over a longer period of time Good Video.

What you mentioned is really important. We need to strive for balance. If you think you're overtrading, first ask *why* you think you're overtrading. If it's a reasonable conclusion, and you decide to scale it back, you might find that you naturally start identifying more opportunities on those other days because you don't feel so overwhelmed or choked all the time. It can be quite freeing to release control of the market, since it tends to release control of us when we decide to do so 😊 Thanks for watching!

I experienced it a couple of times in losing momentum (not in trading yet tho) but in other area's of life and idd its crucual that you keep doing your routines so you don't lose motivation and if you do it wont be harder to get back on track after. Well said that you should just still do your routine but not at the same intesity 💯

If you know how to trade and have your proven strategy, patterns which are work well then it does not matter what day/week/month you are trading.Whenever your relevant patterns are form just take it and the number will come to play. Yes you may not win every trade but over the period of 100 trades you will be profitable.

Fcts!!!!!! Myth # 6: Don't swing trade unless you have a huge account size. Swing trading solve so many of those myths that you mentioned, sir., because big stop losses absorb the news, not having to worry about trading on Mondays and Fridays, or in December every time.
