People tend to forget that spider sense is a DANGER system. Basically a reflex. It only reacts to danger. I.e, family and fucking bread/bananas won't activate his spider sense. And before someone asks, the reason it doesn't work on Venom is because the symbiote was bonded to Peter, so Peter's subconscious doesn't register it as a threat.

Heck Peter already DOES that with other Marvel heroes, but not all adaptations have the rights to those characters, or including them would simply be more work than a second Spider-Man. If you have Miles in Peter's story, that's all you need to explain. If you include the X-Men or Avengers as main stays, you'll need a lot more context that's difficult to get outside of comics and movies.

bro the point he was making was that Peter giving up his responsibility of being Spiderman to take a vacation is a inconsistent character decision, which you then responded by saying that it was done in previous films/ incarnations of the character that people like, therefore it's okay. Without understanding that maybe just like everything that is beloved like Spiderman 2 might also be a flawed in there assessment of the character for example in the same film where peter chooses to let a bystander get mugged because he doesn't have his powers that was bad choice on the hands of the writers. But the difference between the two is that in Spiderman 2 the film presented Peter giving up the mantle as Spiderman as a bad thing, while the game displays peter's departure from his role as Spiderman as a good thing that should be encouraged. It's points like this where I don't understand if you're misconstruing what he's saying on purpose or genuinely can't understand what he's saying.

I don't like miles, but I liked spider verse miles. It's the best depiction of him because they put in the time to make him an actual character, in both movies. Ben Riley, a literal *clone* has had more depth in the comics (not all his stories are universally good but still). But I hate how they made him a joke in the 2nd movie.

@@james849 Yes I do. Miles morales is one of the best thing marvel has created. His powers are different from Spider-Man in the sense that he can generate energy attack thst can destroy buildings. Dude can construct weapons with energy. Not many spider character have such powers. Miles is just different. Read his current comics.
